The hotel over looks the historic Leith Links where the rules of golf were drawn up and where Mary Queen of Scots learnt the game. There are many excellent restaurants bars and wine bars and of course the former Royal Yacht Britannia in the exciting new developments of the old port of Leith nearby. Visit the Palace of Holyrood and walk the Royal Mile to the Castle maybe popping into the many interesting museums and places of interest on the way and enjoy a dram or two in the atmospheric pubs of the Old Town. Perhaps you will enjoy a spot of shopping on Prince's Street arguably Britain's most famous shopping venue outside London and if you enjoy the theatre visit the Edinburgh Playhouse where many excellent productions take place.
