The initial appearance of the hotel showed a building that had tile falling off, and an obvious half hearted repair process going on. On check in, I was not informed that the coffee and tea in the room were considered to be extras. That came as quite a shock, but what can you do on check out. On arrival, we found out that the pool was closed for the week. No reason given, simply closed. One of the reasons we selected this hotel was because of the pool, but it was closed. Very nice. The hotel dining room was nothing short of wonderful. The food selection was modest yet nice. The staff was friendly, attentive and on top of everything. The overall value of the meals compared to price was exceptional. I would have to say that the dining room staff of this hotel is by far its greatest asset. The room was very clean, and kept in order daily. It was remarkably small though. If I ever return to Tel Aviv, Israel, I will chose another hotel to sleep in, but return to the dining room to eat. It is just one opinion of one traveler who has been a number of places. You must and will decide for yourself.

I travel alot, and this trip was for my dad who is 76 years old, diabetic and on a wheel chair. When I got to the hotel I found out my request for a handicapped room was overlooked and had to wait for a new room. Then I noticed my refrigrator in the room is out of order. Since I needed to store my dad's insulin in there, I notified the hotel management, but no one cared, and no one even came up to even check it out. I was promised a parking spot, however, when my ride came to pick us up, the head of the security denied access to the parking lot and told my ride to my 3 blocks away, and pay $10 for the parking there. When the head of security was told about my dad's need to get into the car via the wheelchair in the parking lot, he told my ride we can park in front of the hotel in the taxi zone. Th taxi zone was full. It took my ride an hour and a half of wait and no parking spot. The parking attendent started to cry when she heard my ride begging if she could just park for a few minutes to notify me.Fnally when I talked to hotel security he said parking is based on availability!!!! I notified the hotel management that I will be leaving the next morning. I called at 9:00 am the next morning and asked for ice so I can store my dad's insulin and was told no one has the key to the bar, therefore there is no ice!!! I asked if the restuarant is open and was told there is no ice and it was suggested that I go to the store.

The hotel was undergoing major renovations to its exterior. The bathroom was dirty. The floor had not been swept or mopped - hair from the previous occupants was on the floor, and several of the lights did not work. Also, when we requested fresh towels and ice, neither one was sent to our room - ever. We went down to the front desk to make a second request for fresh towels, and was kept waiting for quite a while and when asked how long we had to wait for the towels, they were handed to us, apparently having arrived at the desk several minutes prior. In fact, when we made these requests we were treated rudely. Additionally, we were never offered a pool pass, and didn't know we could have one until we were checking out. The only time any effort was made to accomodate us was at the business center, where the person at the desk tried to help us make driving plans for our trip.

Just the location. Room was too small. I said it all just the location and the fact that you can have an access to internet but it was used often by young kids should have a separate floor for adult for internet.

It was right on the beach, and the view was fantstic. The hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful, as they were head over heels trying to make my stay even more enjoyable. I would definatly stay there again, and recommend it to anyone going to Tel Aviv. The room was beyond my expectations, even though it only had a shower. The room was big enough for my husband and I, and all of our luggage, and room to move around freely. There was a flat screen TV, a desk, two mirrors, and a bed. I can't stop talking about the service. Everyone there treated me like I was the only one there, and really catered to me. I had to call down a few times, to check on some things (unrelated to my stay), and they were super friendly. The hotel is right down the beach from a very nice, upscale restaurant, or the other way, a lively, friendly bar.

I've just spent a week at the hotel. It is conveniently located near the beach with a beautiful view of the sea. Be awarem not all rooms face the sea. I was disappointed with the quality of rooms. I was given a room that had a dirty carpet. I was then moved to a room that had paint peeling and mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. The third room was not much better. I was finally moved to a room on the 15th floor that was a great improvement. I must say that throughout the front desk and the management were very nice and accommodating and work quickly to solve the problems.

The Yamit was in a great location, close to the center of Tel Aviv and right on the beach. When I got to the hotel, I was surprised to see that the exterior of the building was run down and in desperate need of renovation. The lobby and rooms were comfortable. Unfortunately, I got sick during vacation. When I needed more tissues, I asked the front desk repeatedly and never got a box. I was extremely dissapointed. When housekeeping came to clean my room, they were great and cleaned around me while I was in bed.

Spacious, good view, many amenities, comfortable. I would have preferred a king size bed not two singles placed side by side. We only stayed one evening, but had a very comfortable stay. Bed was comfortable, clean and had all the amenities. Enjoyed use of wireless internet for downloading boarding pass. I would stay at this hotel again.
