The hotel has a great location, near Wangfujang street and very easy subway access. The breakfast is substandard compare to other similar hotels. the club lounge food is good, but offers limited services outside of Happy Hour. The Happy Hour is fairly nice, but still only so so. The staff could be more friednly. For the price paid, it was a good deal. I would not pay much more than $120 for clubroom floor

Location good but not perfect. Wangfujing St. is 15 minutes walk away, Forbidden City/Tienammen Sq. is a 30 minute walk. But a subway stop is very close. Service staff are very helpful.

the hotel was excellent in every respect. the service and staff were amazing - gracious, helpful - cheerful.... it's a beautiful hotel - well appointed - and if you upgrade to the suites - you are entiled to a complimentary breakfast and cocktail hour daily - free internet access - a complimentary buffet breakfast and a beautiful room. it is situated in a great area - within walking distance to a main pedestrian area.can't think of a single con.

I stayed here for a 12 night stay through National Day and Golden Week and have ZERO complaints about the Park Plaza Wangfujing... The location is in the center of just about every major landmark one would want to see and much of those are feasible by foot. The 5 Line Subway is right outside the hotel and from there you are connected with the entire city via the various subway lines. The hotel is well kept and is very clean and spacious. The staff that I encountered were all very helpful and most spoke some form of English and if they did not, they made sure you found someone that did. I stayed in a King Deluxe room, which was very nice and very adequate... The mini-bar was always stocked and room was always cleaned promptly and satisfactorily. The laundry service was also very adequate and relatively cheap. In conclusion, I would not only reccommend this hotel to anyone but I would also stay there and probably will again... The hotel met all my needs and exceeded them in certain situations.

The Park Plaza is located within walking distance of the major Wangfujing shopping district as well as Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, so the location is excellent. In addition, our room was very clean and spacious. One frustration was a tendency of the shower to somehow get around the shower curtain and put water on the floor. The room was very well equipped with a TV with lots of Western channels, a refrigerator, iron and ironing board and so on. The dining facilities were good, but a bit pricy and there was no swimming pool or other facility of that kind. Overall, this is a great hotel to stay in close to the center of Beijing as long as you want to shop and sightsee. If swimming in a hotel pool is your thing, then this is not the hotel for you. I would happily stay there again.

Great location,1/2 mile from forbidden city, tian square, night market and wanfuginf street.Grocery store 5oo feet from from hotel. Most of the tours we did it on our own using the subway lines.Subway very easy to use ,everything mark in english. Some activities use the tour because too far from the city.Concierge at the hotel, all i can say (outstanding).

Room with king size bed was not available when checked in, but we like the room with two beds so we kept it for the three days stay. Location was great to visit the Palace and the Square. We subsequently joined our tour group and stayed at Shangri-la for two days. My wife and I both think the Park Plaza is better, especially with the Club Room.

Classy upscale hotel...was intended for the expense account crowd because all of the optional expenses were very high...mini bar, restaurants etc. There are plenty of surrounding convenience stores and restaurants that can be used at about one third the price of the hotel. Very nice place, friendly staff..the subway/metro is on the same block.
