Superb city centre location - only negative parking at multi storey hard to find and a walk in the rain!

Great location and friendly and helpful staff. Worn carpet in room and problems with electronics (TV, hairdryer). Lovely hotel. Very modern styling rather than old-world European. Friendly and helpful staff and it is in a very convenient location across from the train station. Easy walk to shopping/restaurants and businesses located in Leeds city center.

Excellent, but bed could be betterAn excellent stay only marred by rather average beds. Not big enough and a bit too hard for my liking. Everything else was excellent value for money and the front of house couldn't have been more helpful

We really liked the location and the view from our room. The duvet was stained and the drapes were almost transparent so that the sun woke us up in the morning. The hotel is in a great location, city center and very close to the train station and shopping areas, as well as clubs, bars and restaurants. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bar, at the hotel, were top notch and the drinks were fabulous. Great atmosphere in the restaurant and bar as well. Our room was decorated in a very modern style and the bed was very comfortable, however was disappointed to find stains on the duvet. The bathroom was quite nice and the shower had decent water pressure. All in all it was a positive experience.

A relaxing week endA very nice week end, all as it should be. Breakfast a little manic-not enough tables for the number of guests , so people had to queue.

Dinner, bed and breakfast at park Plaza LeedsBooked this as a surprise for my husbands birthday. Hotel was a little hard to find despite 2 sat navs! Found car park first which is a little walk from hotel. Q car park-Criterion place costs £12.50 for 24 hrs but hotel guests get 10% discount. Lady on reception was very friendly and asked us what time we eould like to book dinner, when I said 8pm she looked a little doubtful but because of the weather (it was pouring down) was able to accommodate us. The room was very nice (superior) nothing flash but very clean and adequate for our needs. Double bed (bit creaky!) Ample wardrobes with mini bar, iron/board, large work desk area with tv,chargeable internet and pay movies. Easy chair in corner of room. Spacious bathroom was very clean and modern, although basin tap leaked when turned on.Meal in hotel restaurant "Chino Latino's" was gorgeous. food was amazing, very nicely presented and staff were very helpful and friendly. Had to remind them about our desserts as we were waiting quite a while and drinks were quite expensive, but other than that outstanding.Breakfast was full english all you could eat buffet and continental, againd food was lovely staff great and atmosphere lovely (same restaurant you have dinner in)Check out very smooth. All staff we met were very friendly and helpful.

Poor communicationI booked three rooms for two nights for a family occasion. I was treating family members.I was given an eco room, even though my booking said superior double , which I stated at reception. It was easier to go out and buy soap and shampoo then get them to sort it out. I pre-paid for the rooms and sorted out the bill before leaving 2 hrs before my guests, asking them to ensure they would not ask my guests for any money. However, they did and embarrassed them at reception saying the room wasn't paid for.

a Glum placeThe bedrooms were not too bad with nice linen and towels. The carpets were very stained in the corridors and the entrance of the hotel was shabby. They try to create a contemporary atmosphere but actually just have bad lighting and awful concrete flooring in reception and restaurant areas. Sofa's against walls in small public areas, Nowhere to relax with friends. Having breakfast in the reaturant was like being in a night club

Would stay again....We booked a superior room with Late Rooms and got an excellent deal, especially as it was mid-week. The stay was good but I would have been dissappointed if I had paid full price for this room. The public areas looked a little tired. I have to say though, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay again if I could get the same deal as the location is great.

Requested a non smoking room, got a tatty, smelly smoking room complete with burns on the carpet. Milk in room was stale. Upholstry in restaurant was dirty and seriously in need of updating. Evening menu was limited and breakfast was either chewy & hard or lukewarm & soggy. On the plus side - the bar & the barstaff there were excellent & friendly & the bar boasted sky TV & free wifi which is always a bonus, and the location of the hotel in the city centre

Park Plaza Leeds - Executive Room 1602Room was spacious and views were incredible. Bathroom is small however well equipped. King bed was very wide and room was clean. Impressive selection of music and movies on the channels. Staff were helpful, chatty and very friendly. Highly recommended as location, room and experience were excellent. Just don't touch the mini bar in the early hours..Adrian English

Weekend StayMy friend and I stayed in an Eco room which was excellent value. I had stayed a number of times before at the hotel and this was definitely a smaller room on a lower level - but at that price we couldn't complian at all. The only negative thing was that something in the bathroom was leaking, we left the tap running accidentally for a short while and the whole of the bathroom floor was soaking - not from the sink overflowing, but there must have been a leak. This is the second time this has happened whilst staying with you. It's not a big thing by any means and I must admit we didn't even mention it - but thought you might want to know. Otherwise - all very good and I will be staying with you again in the near future.Thanks.

Institutionalised lack of attention to detailWe booked a single night package with a Superior room, including a meal for two at Chino Latino for what seemed a very reasonable £89 for a Friday night. Unfortunately, the receptionist was pretty unwelcoming, borderline surly and the room was in no way 'superior'. It was as small as it really could have been, the toilet was disgusting; dirty with the remenants of the previous guests deposit, the glasses in the room had lipstick on them, the carpet was dirty and burnt with hair straighteners, the furniture was tatty. The included dinner at Chino Latino was the pre-theatre set menu. The food and general service was great, except our list wine being incorrect and being handed a bill for the full food and drink amount, not the food inclusive package we had booked. I know we got a good discount on the normal room rate, but a deal is only a deal if you get what you were supposed to. On the up side, great location right in the city centre.
