Staff was exceptional. Dining was exceptional. Room was very comfortable. Easy access to down town Halifax.

Fitness room and buffet breakfast. Needed updating--colors too dark. Very nice staff and friendly restaurant staff as well. Breakfast buffet was adequate, and menu items were very good.

First of all, I don't complain but this place takes the cake. I am forced to stay here because my business takes place in a building that is a minutes walk from the hotel. I felt that I was constantly bothering people when I needed service. There was an overall feeling of contempt from the Managers down to the Front Desk. I felt that they didn't really care if I stayed there or not. The room was old and needs improving. I asked for the Manager to tell him/her this and I was blown off by the Front Desk. I bet you that they never passed along my comment. There is a building being built up the road from here, I hope it's another hotel so that I can start going there in the future.

The hotel was nice and comfortable, the staff friendly. The location was not great but o.k. We did find it overprices, however.

Hotel is clean and comfortable, although the rooms are strictly average. The pool with waterslide was outstanding! Kids and adults alike enjoyed it very much. Hotel staff were marginally helpful, as they weren't very interested in us. We had a bad experience with the hotel restaurant, however. They messed up our carry out order in a big way, charged us a bunch of money, and didn't try very hard to straighten it out. We would have eaten outside the hotel, but it was late and everything nearby was closed. Hotel is situated in a business district, so keep that in mind if you want a lot of outside options such as entertainment, restaurants, etc. We'd stay here again, though.
