Excellent accommodation, but breakfast too expensive

constructive criticismhotel excellent .only minor probs no soft drink drink vending machines on floors as stated in your services guide ice machines there but no cold drinks had to go to garage around corner which could be quite intimidating for an older person at 12 30 am after the arena comes outregards terry tempt me to come again!!!!!

Great location.Great location within walking distance of shops and attractions, rooms basic but clean and fine for a short stay. Staff were very helpful when I mentioned the plug was stuck in the bathroom and that the soap dispenser had fallen off the wall. I would recommend this hotel as a comfortable, good value base to venture into Manchester.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, late bar, very close to MEN Arena, food reasonably priced in the evenings but I never tried any. Breakfast was more expensive so opted for room without - close enough to printworks for many food options.

Some teething problems, but generally very goodAs a brand new hotel there are some little teething problems, but generally this is an excellent hotel, good quality, good location. Spa closes on Sundays? Why?

Sheets?I booked this hotel specifically for its proximity to the Arena, it is directly opposite the venue, but stupidly didn't check about parking. They don't have any, so when we finally arrived after our 3 hour journey by car it looked like we would have to queue with everyone else and park at the Arena car park. Luckily, especially as it's £9, after nearly collapsing at the check-in desk a girl took pity on me and let me part in the staff parking at the back. At this point I was quite pleased with the hotel but then when we got back to our room after the concert, and got ready to turn in we pulled back the duvet to find that there weren't any sheets on our bed?! Just a duvet protector that wouldn't stay on because it was two single beds zipped together. We called down and a sheet appeared but then when we tried to put it on it was only a single and it didn't fit. At this point, very tired, we just gave up and went to bed. About an hour later, unable to turn down/off the air conditioning we were still awake and freezing. Should have called down but didn't really want someone in our room working the air con at 1am. The room was clean, tea/coffee etc all okay, but it wasn't a good experience. Topped off by the fact that on check out they called me Mrs Huge instead of Mrs Hughes I don't think I'll go back. I'd rather walk further to a hotel from the concert. in fact I'd rather have driven home.

Perfect location if attending MEN Arena. Reception staff helpful and attentive. Leisure facilities available, so do use as we had the whole area to ourselves - was nice but a shame as guests can use free of charge.

Brilliant locationBrilliantly placed hotel for the MEN arena, less than 5 minutes walk away. Car park across the road only £3 for 24 hour stay.Staff very friendly and efficient. Only one small complaint was the pillows - very soft and only one each.

A great place to stay !We where attending a concert at the MEN. This hotel could not have been in a better location right across the road about 2min away. The hotel is brand new and in pristine condition. We would like to thank the staff for all there help especially Catherine on reception who could not do enough for us to make our stay fantastic. The facilities where 1st class we had an Executive Room overlooking the city with all the trimmings so it made our overnight stay even more special. If you are looking to have a great night out in Manchester and want a hotel that is within walking distance of all the top attractions and night life then you can do no better that the Park Inn. Breakfast was included in our stay and we had a really good choice of continental and cooked option's which was constatnly being refilled. Also, which was a great plus, was that breakfast was from 7-11pm and check out was at 12pm so gave us that little extra time in the morning that we all need. All in a great place and we will be visiting again soon, thanks so much to all the staff again for a great stay

Manchester, Victoria. 2 night break.Spent 2 nights at the Park inn recently, visiting my son who now works in Manchester. Our first visit to the city, it turned out to be in the wrong location for us, however, it wasn't difficult to reach the Trafford park area from here. The hotel is, ideally situated for the Manchester Evening News Arena and there is reasonably priced secure parking close to the hotel. The Park Inn staff were very friendly and accomodating. It was also reasonably priced.

for a stop overI booked 2 rooms for an overnight stay for a graduation ceremony we needed to attend. We didn't use any of the facilities that may have been available, so my review is limited to the stay for 1 night in the room, which was comfortable.
