Excellent location and price. Room is small but clean and has everything one needs (TV, shower and a comfie bed). Front desk staff are friendly as well.

Don't be fooled by the "panoramic view" roof top lounge". It's a fake, barely 50 square feet facing to the east. In German there's no concept of the word "panorama", meaning 360 degrees. However, the hotel claims they're not responsible (even though they own it through a subsidiary business). Don't waste $8 on a 20 sec 45 degree view.

Park Inn Berlin Alexanderplatz... a good stay!We had a FAB time in Berlin during the Fashion Week beginning ofJuly. Airport Schonefeld to hotel was around 33 euros oneway. Hotel busy but very polite and efficient, but couldn't really help us with general tourist information though, (probably as our German language skill were not up to it?). Rooms etc all very nice but the loo's in the room mean't that if you where taking someone who might be embarassed by 'the noise', it might cause a problem... they are not in a separate bathroom, but don't let that put you off it is a very nice hotel especially for the price. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the trendy area and river, so good shopping, river trips, restaurants, and sights quite near. A good central (East) location.Watchout for the cafes/restaurants, the staff tried to rip us off several times by over charging and not playing fair about giving change, and expecting big tips for poor service. The credit card issue caused a few problems, the restaurants did NOT like taking them, they wanted cash! I had my Mastercard refused by several waiters, I think they might have accepted Visa, but they would only accept cards with a passport photo ID etc. This was a real insult as I have used Mastercard all around the world without extra ID with no problem at all.Taxis were very good and not too expensive for a big city, drivers very helpful with tourist information. All in all East Berlin is changing, vibrant, fun and cultured. Only one disappointment, Cafe Adler at Check Point Charlie is no longer, it's a nice chain coffee bar, but I feel the old cold war charm and history of Cafe Adler is lost.... glad I went there before modernisation.Go and enjoy Berlin, you should have an interesting trip.

i wish there were better excursions plans, more information about local night life. If you did not book a suite or wearing an elegant dress they treat you like a bum. If you are a smoker, do not stay at this hotel, there are no smoking rooms. Rooms were nice but too small for a 4 stars hotel. Breakfast is not included and it's very expensive. In the summer months don't expect to be cool by the hotel air conditioning system. The only good thing was the location.

Centrally located and very comfortable. Clean rooms and a nice place to come back to after a day out in Berlin.

Rooms are tiny. Like prison cells with a sliding glass door covering a toilet one way and if slide across it covered the toilet and revealed a shower. Sink out in the room. It was clean and room service was good. Some staff in Bar were gruff and unfriendly and Im talking about the older staff. The younger staff all smiled and did what they do very well. Excellant location though so probably would stay again but pay more for a room upgrade.

This hotel is very large and efficient for both leisure and business travelers. The location next to a major train station and historic sites, situates this hotel very well. The Breakfast is enormous, healthy and tasty. The concierge service was one of its weekest points. It was more like a sales department for selling you expensive sightseeing trips. They had little interest in solving personal problems. The good news is that there are lots of good information centers nearbye to get the information you might need. Being from a warmer climate air conditioning is important to us. The Air Conditioning did not work very well. They have a very unique system. This hotel overall is good value. Within easy walking distance are all price ranges of restaurants. In closing, the hotel overall enhanced our trip to Berlin!

Bed is very soft - a spring mattress on a spring base. Anyone with any sort of back issue will need to ask for boards to be put under the mattress. Other than that - fantastic location - close to RE train to Scheonefeld, great buffet breakfast, excellent concierge.

perfect central hotel.we were lucky enough to be on the 23rd floor, and enjoyed a perfect view of Berlin.the location of the hotel is unbeatable for a citybreak and the room and shower were great for us.the receptionists were also very hot.

With a room on the 29th floor, we had a great view of the TV tower and the city below. We did not like the glass-walled bathroom, which limited privacy, but the bedroom section was comfortable. The location was good for museums and other tourist attractions. Although the hotel was filled with business people, we found it hospitable to tourists as well. The breakfast buffet was great.

Hotel is in a great location within a close walk to the city. The bar and restaurant are very clean and welcoming. The staff are very friendly and I dont recall meeting any that could not speak english. I will be staying there again very soon.

The Park Inn Alexanderplatz (Berlin) staff deserves praise. My wife had an emergency with new contact lenses and immediately the staff had us on the way at midnight to an emergency room at a hospital, even coming out to the taxi to tell the driver exactly what we needed. Also, we had left some items in the room from a stay a week earlier and on this return visit they had them waiting in a bag. The concierge booked our tour and for a dinner in the tower across the street. The breakfast is great, and while aimed at European tastes (as I would expect) it also takes care of American desires. The location is good, and directly across the street from the Alexanderplatz rail station. Though we took a taxi from Schoenefeld Airport, several others we spoke to took the train and found it excellent and convenient. The space in the room is a little tight by American standards, but is comparable to other urban European hotels of like stature. My wife and I were quite pleased by the hotel and would gladly stay there again.

brilliant hotel, fantastic location, incredible value. Studio style is for intimate couples or single travellers only, don't pick a twin room if you are just "friends" ...... as the segregation from room to bathroom is not of the English style, aside from that I challenge you to find a better hotel for 99 Euro a night in Berlin ..... as it is next to the 'Telly Tower', you can't get lost, just look for the tower, and you know where your hotel is. The Brandenburg gate etc is a 20 minute walk, great bars are only 10 mins away if you go through the rear entrance over the shopping plaza and keep walking .... stay here, you'll love it ........ breakfast is a tad expensive at 18 euro, but every cafe nearby does brekker for 7 euro, so there you go ..........

Large hotel in the centre of Alexander Platz. Easy to get to from Schoenfeld Airport. You cannot miss it when you're in in the area. The station gives easy access and direct trains/metro to all the main attractions in Berlin. Most attractions are in walking distance if need be. Hotel was fully booked even though we had booked in advance. They offered us a Suite instead which they warned us had no windows. The Suite was decorated very nicely and modern. We took the room anyway as we were only there for 2 days. Highly recommended and good value for money.
