This hotel provided a great base for the Tokyo part of our trip. It is part of the Shidome complex and connected via an underground passage and 5 min walk to the Shimbashi subway stop on the Yamamote line-made it very easy to get around Tokyo. The hotel is also very close to the fish market and hidden gardens-both worth a visit. We had dinner one night at the Michelin star TY restaurant-an interesting combination of French and Japanese cuisine. The staff were always very helpful and the limousine bus direct to Nirita from outside the hotel a bonus.

The location, staff, rooms, views, everything were absolutely perfect. The price was also amazing for Tokyo. Shimbashi Station is very close for train travel, and there is a subway station in the basement, so you can be anywhere in Tokyo within minutes. The staff was excellent, and most spoke English, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't learn some Japanese before going to Tokyo (It makes everything easier).

This hotel is located in a busy business district. There are lots of shops and restaurants in the district. All of the great Tokyo sights are nearby including the Tokyo Tower, Roppongi, Tsukiji Fish Market, Ginza, etc. The area is well connected by subway and above ground trains. The hotel lobby was very clean, but I couldn't say the same for the rooms and upper floors. The carpet and walls (at least on the 33rd floor) were significantly stained and the carpet was stretched and wrinkled. Not the nice clean look that you expect after seeing the lobby. The rooms have individual heating and cooling control, but in March the building's AC was turned off so the room could never get below about 75 degrees. Since Japanese beds (inclusive of this hotel) generally don't have top sheets and instead have thick comforters, this made for some very warm, sweaty nights. We complained and were told that there is nothing that could be done. The bathrooms were technically clean, but in need of maintenance. The restaurants in the hotel were very expensive and the continental breakfast was about 4 times more expensive than I expect to pay for that type of food. The upside is the local neighborhood is full of dining opportunities. You could probably live your whole life in the Shiodome district without leaving. So overall, for the location and price, I think this is an excellent hotel.

Great views from the 25-34 floors that the Park Hotel occupies in the Media Tower. Four major train lines intersect under the hotel and Tokyo station is closing making travelling around Tokyo easy. Other new buildings in Shidome have a great selection of restaurants.

My niece and I jwrapped up a 16 day trip to Japan at the Park based on other reviews and were not disappointed we did. The hotel is on the upper floors of a very nice, though sterile highrise building. The views are terrific. The modern hotel lobby impressed my 18 year old niece, but struck me as pure 'business traveller' anticeptic. So I was surprised when our 29th floor, king bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The Park is steps from the monorail to Odaiba, a fantastic amusement, shopping, casual dining, and attraction filled entertainment area that is great for teens. They also have 2 floors in the Hong Kong area filled with day spas so adults can have fun too. We were also a short walk to Tsukiji market, where we went for great, inexpensive sashimi breakfasts and shopping. We loved the location since it was away from the bustle of Tokyo center, yet close to a major train station just a 10 minute walk away (all underground). Shimbashi Station isn't in league with Shinjuku or Tokyo Station, but we found plenty of good, inexpensive places to eat in and near the station and hotel, and could catch a subway to anywhere in the Tokyo metro area in minutes. Hotel staff were freindly and efficient, and offered English language maps and travel tips. With only 3 terminals the business center was often crowded, but Internet is free. We didn't eat at the restaurant since the prices were ridiculously high, though the Europeans at the hotel seemed to flock there in large numbers for the well stocked breakfast buffet. We were seemingly the only Americans at the hotel, though we met many young Europeans, which gives the Park a very international flavor. Overall, a good choice and value.

The hotel was great! The staff are very polite, but don't rely solely on them for area info, sometimes they didn't advise of details such as an event being closed on a holiday or certain days fo the week. There is one ethernet hi-speed internet port, so bring your own router if you plan on using more than one computer. Only two radio station selections were available on the in-room audio system, TV channels were few and sometimes no english spoken on any of them.

location was very good, albeit a bit difficult to get to from Shimbashi station. Everybody in the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Rooms very very nice, and perfectly clean. I had a comfortable stay in this hotel, and would recommend to a friend.

Very good location--just beside Shiodome and Shinbashi train stations. Excellent staff--polite and helpful! The rate was very resonable for both business and leisure purposes. It was definitely a pleasant stay and I would love to returen in the future.

Our stay was great. Rooms are nice (it's worth to pay more for a larger premium room), location is great, service is great... Everything was 5 star. Only reason I gave 4 star instead of 5 is that their cncierge staffs are very friendly but they do not know anything. (but they do their best to find answers for you though)
