Location Description: This hotel is set in its own Parkland, a little way out from town a top a small hill from which one can see the spires in the old walled part of the City.
Exterior: The exterior is cream coloured, and the building used to be an old sienese Villa belonging to a noble family of the area. Dark wood shutters surround each window. At the rear is a patio area in the same shape and design as the main 'palio' square in the centre of Siena. The hotel actually has its own chapel, which, though not consecreted has special dispensation to hold wedding ceromonies in.
Lobby: The lobby and public areas are decorates in a sumptuous style, with all the qualities of a large country house. Tapestries and oil paintings adorn the walls.
Rooms: Rooms are spacious and confortable, tastefully furnished and equipped to highest standards. Elegant upholstery on the walls, antique furniture and murano lamps and chandeliers are tastefully coordinated for a special warm yet refined atmosphere.
Dining: The restaurant is set downstairs in a long bright room. Windows are down one side and the walls are cream and grey with wrought iron chandeliers suspended in a line from the ceiling.
