| This hotel appears to be undergoing refurbishment. The rooms were newly decorated in a "contemporary" style, but were small, with the bedroom, shower & toilet having juts a opaque glass divider between them. The room was expensive too at €180 for one night. The concierge insisted on getting us a taxi and I'm sure he was in collusion with the taxi driver. We ended up paying over €100 to get from Amsterdam to Zoetemeer. He could have easily told us the train details, but instead shook his head and told us a taxi would be much easier. |

| A well placed hotel. Good for families, as it isn't near the red light district and good for heineken lovers (near the museum). A lovely hotel with beautifully presented rooms. |

| Hotel easy to get to from airport using public transport. Good location close to Liedseplein and Vondelpark. Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum in walking distance. Very friendly staff and nice bar. Only downside was size of bedroom which was very small (yet supposed to be 'superior'). It was one of the 'refurbished' rooms on the top floor - nice and modern but very little storage space and not a proper ensuite. |

| We did ask for non-smoking and then ended up with a smoking room (and they were unable to change it as all non smoking rooms were booked). But.. the room was still clean and didn't smell of smoke so it was not too big a drama. Location was excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful. |

| Have stayed here twice now, its away from the hustle and bustle of the revellers and the rooms are clean and functional. Staff are very good and the airport minibus from just outside the hotel is invalueable. Can only comment food wise on breakfast which wasn't good for the price. Vondel park next door is good for families and trams, canals are 2 mins away. |

| Hotel is in perfect location close to museums, shops and restaurants and extremely central.Staff were all friendly and went the extra mile to look after you.The only thing that lets the hotel down is that it is severely stuck in the 1980's and whilst extremely clean, definately needs to have a refurb to bring it up to the times. Looks shabby and therefore doesn't feel like a 4 star hotel.However, I would definately stay there again. |
