I have to say my experience at the hotel was very nice. The staff does a great job of making you feel at home and for those who do not speak Spanish, they are multi-lingual. The location is in an upscale neighborhood and has access to many of the necissities of the traveler. My only complaint is that every where that was recomended was in the Recoleta neighborhood. There are many other neighborhoods with food just as tasty and that permit you to save a few dollars in your wallet.

The hotel is in a good area of Buenos Aires, but if you happen to be place in a room on the lower floor facing the street or need the elevator, the noise will be a nuisance. Other than that, room is clean and spacious (excluding the bathroom) and comfortable, ideal if you want a nice place to stay without paying the big dollars for the big chain hotels. Probably would stay again if on a stopover.

The best was the recommendations from the hotel staff. Great suggestions on food places. It was about a five minute walk from the main streets. And close the the center the main area of the city. The price was excellent for the location!

The Recoleta area is a very nice part of Buenos Aires. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by the very nice hotel staff. We were very pleased when we checked into our beautiful room. The bedding and pillows were quite upscale. We had a delicious breakfast in the dining room. There were many beautiful parks nearby.

Being a frequent visitor to Buenos Aires, I stayed at the Park Elegance when it was the Kempinski. That prior visit was very good. However, this new version of this hotel is a great disappointment. They claim to have internet service in each room (as they had before), but this service has been eliminated even though the Hotel Guide in each room continues to proundly proclaim this service. Furthermore, the WiFi service in the lobby and the cafe was so unreliable, guests were continually moving around trying to find some spot, somewhere, where they could stay online for more than 15 minutes. Breakfast was a highlight of the previous visit - no more. If you enjoy comedy with your breakfast, go for it. If there was coffee, there was no milk; when the milk appeared, there was no coffee. If they had cereal, there were no spoons; by the time a spoon finally appeared, there was no cereal; by the time they finally replenished the eggs, there were no forks; the depleted staff responded to requests for even minimal coordination with their usual pleasant demeanor, although it was always more important to chat on the phone or take a cigarette break. In short, and I say this with some sadness since the staff is friendly and cooperative, this hotel has become a disaster. It may improve again, but the risk is too high. The neighborhood is great, but I will never stay at the Park Elegance again. They should spend less money on fake and fairly tacky furnishings, and get their act together.

The Kempinski (Buenos Aires) was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The hotel was located very close to the subway and other attraction in the area. I would highly reccomend this hotel.

Our stay was disrupted by ongoing renovations being made on the property through the day and throughout the night! In various occassions we contacted the front desk for assistance with telephone numbers or special request and never did we get a response, despite staff offering to provide help at all times. Bathroom small and cluttered, with roaches. Room large but lacks furniture and space to accomodate clothes. Short on hangers. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The Kempinski Park Elegance is a small hotel with a great location; walking distance to Recoleta sights and Avenida Santa Fe shopping. The room was clean and comfortable and quite large for a single, with a small sitting area. The staff was very helpful. I was able to check-in early after an overnight flight from U.S., and they also arranged for a transfer to the airport at the end of my stay. The hotel only has a breakfast area, but no restaurant. There are, however, plenty of excellent restaurant choices close by.

The room at the Kapinski Park Elegance was a great size, but a bit lacking in the furnishings department. It could have used more storage space, particularly in the bathroom. But overall, the value for the money was unbeatable. The lobby is lovely, and the staff fantastic. The included breakfast was shockingly good and complete (including eggs, french toast, etc.). The biggest, but still minor, problem with our stay was the continual problem of the front elevator getting stuck on a floor because a guest had forgotten to close the door behind them. This is understandable, as it's an old elevator. But there could be better signage and reminders to close the doors each time. The hotel staff were always helpful when the elevator was stuck, but it was generally a pain not being able to count on the elevator being available at all times. Location was fantastic. Close to everything, especially the cemetery, and surrounded by many 24 hr stores so there was always a chance to pick up any needed items. Also, fairly close to the subway.
