had a great time in NY this hotel make it for us the price and location was prefect ,beds extremely comfortable & the staff was excellent very happy group! Definately will come back. We were able to see lots of great sites ALL within walking distances the theaters ,time square,movie theater ,ripely's ,central park,good morning america,late night shows ,venders & more ,awesome !

It is very close to everything (Central Park, Times Square, etc). It was muggy in the room so it didn't smell great.

I was happy with this hotel, room was nice,had a free safe but no tea/coffee facilities(but Starbucks adjacent).Staff friendly and helpfull Great location. Would definetly choose if going back to NY

It got me three days to recover my mail, some was in the package room, some in the mail room and the rest in the office behind the desk !!!after begging and begging they begin searching, how disorganized is that, it stressed me for three vacation days, they charge me 4$ for every package of small mail??????? elevator is useless, they put a sign that it is slow but it doesn`t mean they do not have to fix it NOW. what is the use of a good location if taking the elevator up and down takes 20 min minumum? no fan or window in bathroom'???discusting!!!!!! every employee said yes to everything and did nothing except Maureen Gordon (concierge) she should work in a better hotel, she is the only good thing about this hotel. They said the did a millions of dollars remodeled, it shows nowhere, its old and sheets were torn, some days housekeeping never entered the room, I will never stay there again.

This hotel was so amazing. I highly recommend it to any couples or friends travelling. I has a bar in the lobby so you can gather and a restaurant in case you are tight for time. It is literally 3 or 4 blocks from times sq. and it is next to carnagie hall and carnagie deli! this hotel is just superior to any other i have stayed at.

Great location. No pool. We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The location was excellent; we were just blocks away from Times Square and a subway station, so we were able to easily get to where we wanted to go. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room and hotel in general were clean and attractive. We would definitely stay here again.

Didn't get in until 2:30am due to cancelled flight. Anxious to get to bed only to find room had in-op AC. Took 20 minutes to get second room.

The hotel location is totally incredible. The room is very nice, the bar is excellent and the restaurant to the personnel is excellent.

Room was OK - but last time we had a gorgeous room with big windows, so a little less good this time. Charge for checking baggage is excessive and annoying. Location is terrific.

The Park Central Hotel is a great hotel. Its central location is conveniant for a trip walk to Times Square, Central Park, Carnegie Hall, Broadway, Rockafeller Center, etc. The rooms were cleaned daily and the staff was very friendly. You can choose this hotel and relax knowing that you will be taken care of!!

location. Internet charges. The location of Park Central couldn't be better. Sure you can stay in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of Times Square, or you can stay at Park Central and be two quick subway stops from all of it. Not to mention walking distance from 5th Avenue, Central Park, Letterman, and Rockefeller Center.

A coffee pot in the room would've been a real plus... the nature of my stay required me to get up early. They say you can get anything you want in NY anytime, but I couldn't get a cup of joe at 4 a.m...room service didn't kick in 'til 6:30, and the earliest coffee shop opened at 5:30. other than that, my needs were simple. It was clean, quiet, with a comfortable bed and fresh towels. I can't comment on the gym or room service or internet access or anything else I didn't use.

close to Central Park and Times Square I found the hotel to be more average than anything. I can't point to anything that made it outstanding. The meal we had at the restaurant was also average but overpriced and the calamari in one of the dishes was on the going bad side. We did get a free dessert and coffee because of that.

The location was great! Two blocks to Central Park and we had a very enjoyable walk through the park on Saturday morning. We also attended a number of Broadway shows and the Tony Awards at Radio City and were able to walk to all events. The Metro beside the hotel provided easy access to some of the main north/south routes to allow easy access to Manhattan.

Comfortable pillows. Not that well maintained. The hotel was nice and in a nice location in the city, but I felt that it wasn't that clean in the bathroom.

I have stayed at hotels for less money in NYC that were cleaner and higher quality. The rooms were fine, but the bathroom reminded us of a two star hotel. Other than body lotion and shampoo, we did not have a single amenity. No minibar, no magazines about NYC, no in-room coffee. Barebones.

Great location, relatively spacious room (relatively to NYC). Bed sheets too shorts; excessive charge for luggage deposit, unfriendly personnel . The hotel is huge and located greatly, close to Central Park. The rooms are relatively spacious, for NYC's standards. The hotel, though, is not a 31/2 star hotel. The bed sheet does not cover completely the bed, so during the night it comes off and it really bothered me. There is no fridge in the room and no computers in the hotel. The internet connection, if you have your own laptop is expensive. We were charged 3.73$ per luggage piece at the luggage deposit even if we stayed at the hotel. The total price was decent but I would not stay again at this hotel.
