We loved the decor of the hotel. The staff was very helpful with any question we had about car rentals, directions and museum tickets. The location was perfect for walking around the city but coming back to the hotel on a small side street.Breakfast every morning was really good. Very clean hotel.

The location was excellent. The hotel staff was very unaccommodating. When traveling overseas how they describe rooms is different and can be very confusing. Even when we figured out the confusion the hotel staff was not very understanding at all. They were very disappointing.

We stayed in this hotel for afew nights of our honeymoon. The staff was excellent and very helpful and the hotel had a very nice atmosphere. Our first night in we arrived in town late, but the man at the desk recommended a wonderful restuarant around the corner. Great location, within walking distance of EVERYTHING! Our room was huge and clean. Breakfast was very nice. There is internet access in the hotel for a very reasonable price as well. Great experience!

This is one of my new favorite hotels. I was absolutely charmed by the building itself, an old palazzo. There are staircases and nooks and corners everywhere - notice the little transparent staircase that bridges an alley between two buildings - you can look down and see the pavement far below! Graceful corridors, little sitting rooms, and a patio on the second level that overlooks the street below are some of the elegant touches - and the breakfast room's ceiling is a frescoed beauty. Our room was quite small, but beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The walls were upholstered in gold damask and the bathroom was modern and also spotless. The front desk staff was kind, friendly, and helpful. The included breakfast was very nice - cold meats and cheeses, rolls, croissants, yogurt, and fruit, plus coffee, cappuccino, tea, and juices. The location was perfect, very close to the train station, the Duomo, and Santa Maria Novella church. I would absolutely stay here again.

The hotel is amazing!!!! The building is gorgeous and the employees were all really nice and helpful. I loved breakfast and the Cathedral is 5 minutes away walking. The room was really big and nice. I can only recomend it!!

This hotel is 50 years past its prime. The smell of sewage reaked through the entire building. When I questioned the manager, I was told that since the building was very old, this happened sometimes. Also, the shower in my room(deluxe) was attatched at the faucet and the hose wouldn't reach my head!! AVOID THIS HOTEL!! I wouldn'r board my dogs here!

Convenient location, close to the train station and to areas of interest. The pictures make it look more glamorous than it is but overall it served its purpose. Clean a place to sleep and convenient location.

Excellent location and great interior. However, the rooms do not seem to be well maintained.

As soon as we arrived at the hotel we were moved to their sister hotel, which was not nearly as nice. They claimed that they had water and electrical problems and needed to move guests. The odd part was that none of the guests that were there, seemed to be inconvenienced by the problems. The city was booked solid (there was a fitness event happening) and we strongly suspect that they had simply over booked. Had we actually been moved to a comparable hotel, we would have been okay with the move.

The hotel was within walking distance from the train station and close to many of the attractions in Florence. The hotel was not a typical three star. The location of the hotel was great, but it wasn't very clean. The sheets and towels had obviously been washed (they smelled fresh and looked nice), but the comforter looked old and not so clean. Trying to get a good night's rest on the old mattress was almost impossible (it was concaved in the middle from wear and tear).

It was very spacious and clean. Street noise was sometimes loud. This hotel did meet our expectations. It was clean, comfortable, spacious, and cozy. Staff was helpful and friendly as well. Breakfast was a feast - very impressive!
