Last Minute This hotel was booked as an emergency and therefore probably would not have been my first choice. The staff were very good, helpful and friendly which was the main plus of this hotel. It is an excellent location for Temple Bar and surrounding tourist attractions. The downside was the condition of the room which was very tired and poorly finsihed in areas where repairs had been undertaken, which is not be expected from a medium star hotel. In addition the TV and Shower didn't work upon arrival.

Modern, comfortable, very clean and rooms were big. It is in Temple Bar so it can be a little loud. Overall it was a great value for the quality of the hotel and the location. we were there in the off season and the noise level wasn't bad but I could see how it would be a problem during the heavy tourist season.

This is a great spot if you want to see the Temple Bar area and is within walking distance of other major sights. The hotel was clean and the city noise level was what you would expect from a big city. It wasn't really loud and around midnight traffic noise dies down. The breakfast was great. Service as friendly as everywhere in Ireland. The only draw back is for those of us who have just landed in the middle of another country for the first time and have to learn to drive on the other side of the road on narrow streets. This is in the heart of the city center and can get very harry with traffic all around and not being use to it. Also, there are no street signs and the ones posted do not match those on the maps so we had to drive by landmarks. There is no parking at the hotel but there is parking within walking distance and I never felt unsafe. Everyone was packing luggage with them. This was a great place for our first night in Irleand.

Paramount HotelThis hotel is in a handy location near Temple Bar. Unfortunately our bag was misplaced in the wrong room but the hotel tracked it down for us and gave us a complimentary breakfast, retrieving the bag just before we checked out. The room was tidy and well equipped, the breakfast was really nice too. I would stay here again.

The service was extraordinary. Loud music from the hotel bar every night.

This hotel was clean, reasonably priced and in a GREAT location. However, unless you plan on partying until after 3 am, I do not recommend staying at this hotel. The music from the pub below pounded away until after 3 am. Great for singles or students, but not if you're looking to relax after a long day of sightseeing!

Considering we only paid 79 euros including breakfast, this was value for money. However, beware of some charges like water in room (2 euros). Suited us as we were on a budget

In the thick of itVery Central Hotel. For those wanting a good night sleep, do not get a room facing the street. My Room 215 was extremely noisy from the continuous traffic noise, to revellers singing at 3am to the sound of thumping music all night long. I asked to be moved the next morning which they kindly agreed to. Overall the hotel is OK. Chic..its not, boutique...not really. Just another ordinary hotel attached to a late Bar and restaraunt.

Friendly reception staff willing to help and advise. Room was good size and clean, albeit a little dingy - there was no 'main' light in the room, just low-watt table lamps and wall lights. Bathroom, however, was brightly lit, clean and well serviced. We had a problem with a partially blocked lavatory which we reported as we went out one morning. The receptionist promised to get someone to look at it and if it couldn't be resolved, then we'd be given another room. Happily, it was resolved before we returned to our room later in the day and a note was put under our door confirming that the housekeeping supervisor had been in our room and fixed the problem, with the promise of another room immediately if the problem recurred. So, we couldn't fault them there either!Location of this hotel is brilliant if, as we were, you are looking for somewhere right in the centre of Dublin, on the doorstep of Temple Bar. No lack of bars, several providing daily live trad Irish music (try upstairs in Oliver St John Gogarty's!!).All in all, a really good hotel and we'd happily stay here again.

Great accomodation but bad restaurantGreat accomodation but do not eat in the bar below - the food was pretty dreadful and they didn't even clear the starter plates away when they placed the main course on the table. The food arrived within minutes and was only just warm - it wasn't microwaved so I have no idea how they heated it so quickly. There are plenty of far better placed to eat in and around Temple Bar so go out for your food. Excellent location in the centre of the City.

Good hotel on a lovely street that was within walking distance of most pubs/restaurants, shops and public transport. Never had a problem walking back to hotel late at night, it was pretty safe. Had a lovely spacious room on the first floor with two large windows, however music from pub underneath the hotel might be a bit of a hindrance for those wishing to sleep early at times.

Good location and excellent room, if a little too hot at times, but shouldn't complain in Dec.

The room was clean, neat and tidy. A little bit warm but better that than cold. I had a view of air conditioning ducting but t be honest I was not in Dublin to stay in m,y room so not an issue to me.

The hotel was very good - considering it was 3 star, the accommodation was just as good as the 4 star we stayed in the previous night. Really friendly staff, good size rooms, comfy beds, informative & useful literature about Dublin in the rooms, fantastic location to be close to some very good bars in the nicer end of Temple Bar - strongly recommend this hotel. One point to consider though, we stayed Sunday so it was fairly quiet - if staying on Friday or Saturday and not intending to be out til the early hours, the Czcech (spelling??) Inn opposite opens till 3 am so you may get some noise (but you'll get that in most hotels around Temple Bar), or ask for a room that doesn't over look it.

Good clean hotel with friendly service but noise from the street kept me awake throughout the night, both traffic and people.

A well-located hotel if you want to be in the heart of Dublin - the room we had was much smaller than those shown on the website - but it did have a very big bed. Unfortunately the hotel's air conditioning unit was situated right outside the window, which made it too noisy to sleep with the window open and too hot and stuffy to sleep with it closed. Catch 22. Bathroom was good, but the flat screen TV would have been better on a shelf about 18 inches lower as it was impossible to see the picture in anything but a \"negative\" look when lying in bed. I did email the hotel the day before arriving to request something special for my wife's birthday, but had no reply. But at the price paid it was good, though not great, value, a few simple touches would have made it excellent.

Chose this hotel based on other customer reviews and was not disappointed. My sister and I arrived early and although check in was not until 2pm, they booked us into our room. The staff were friendly and polite and gave me a map of Dublin which let me know of the attractions available. The room was lovely and although not overly big was very comfortable and nicely decorated with an LCD TV and tea making facilities. The bathroom was clean with plenty of towels and when we had problems with the shower a porter was sent straight up to help and offered to move us to another room. There is also free WiFi in the rooms which was really convenient for us. The lighting was very soft, so if you need bright lights you may need to have a word, although this was not a problem for us.On the way back our flight was cancelled and we stayed at a 4 star hotel where there was no WiFi in the rooms and a charge if you wanted to use their broadband or WiFi downstairs, so thumbs up to Paramount. The Paramount is in a great location and I would recommend it to all, I loved the decor and really enjoyed my stay there. Great price for the two nights so my next trip to Dublin, Paramount here I come!

Very reasonable and a lovely hotel but the only problem was it was very very noisy. Pub downstaires and opposite, so people singing, arguing, shouting til early hours and windows arent double glazed. Didnt get much sleep either night!
