Augustinian convent, founded by the first nobles of Chinchon in the 15th century, it moved to its current location 2 centuries later. Subsequently, in the 19th century, it became a privileged cultural centre, taking care of the education of several professors. Following its expropriation by Mendizabal law, it had the functions of local court and prison.
