Overall, I thought the property was great. It is pricey and you pay for just about everything. Our initial room was too small for us, so we upgraded for a Studio. It was well worth the extra $50 per night. It is in a great central location with easy access to highways, so you can get to your sightseeing destinations easily. It is located on Mission Bay, so you have beach and park access from the hotel. It offers a relaxed atmosphere and the 5 pools are great. The property is very beautiful, but the no in-room coffee or tea was a disappiontment.

The property is absolutely gorgeous! It definitely felt like we were in Paradise. Everyone on the property was very helpful. We wished we could have stayed for a few more days. The concierge gave great suggestions for places to eat. We used public transportation to get around. The bus stop is just right outside of the property. The only discrepancy was that travel website didn't include the extra person fee in our total cost for the room. We were charged the extra person fee at Paradise Point.

No wonder they call themselves the Paradise. Unbelieveable stay! Fire-pit in front of my room. My wife and I had dinner at the Baleen; great service, great food. I am definitely going back for the monkey bread.

I was scared reading some of these reviews about smelly stinky rooms and dated furnishings but found that to be totally UNTRUE! The resort is a bit older, but the rooms are clean and much bigger than other rooms we've had at newer hotels. The bathroom was really big and the bathtub was looong. we had a tiny fridge, perfect for milk and juice. This hotel was so nice that we rarely left the property. There is long stretches of beach to walk with enclosed firepits you can have a nice beach fire in (wood and stuff for smores sold at the really sweet giftshop). There is a bazillion miles of walking paths around pretty little lagoons and tropical areas. There are nice places to sit and feed the ducks (who are friendly and will eat out of your hand). The bike rental was great. we put our two year old in the front of the quad-bike and rode around for two hours. every person we ran into on the staff was friendly, but not fakey. the barefoot restaurant was great also. it is right on the pier next to the boat rental. outdoor eating in the morning is the best. the bottom line is that this is an amazing place to go and just unwind. we spent zero time watching tv and tons of time together. we plan to go back every year.

Luckily, my family had to stay there for one night only ! Upon arrival we were greeted by a very nice young lady who surprised us with a non-optional 22 parking fee. Well, I thought, so many businesses practice these "hidden fees" policy that this one should not bother us. The interior of our bungalows was very disappointing to us. At almost 400 per night they looked like cheap motel rooms. Patio door lock was broken. When I called the front desk, they promised to send someone to fix it, but they never did. At night, as we were getting ready to go to sleep, we discovered that we have only one rollaway bed, although we asked for 2 (1 in each room); the other room had a regular sofa. Once again I called the front desk, but at 11 pm they don't pick up their phones. I tried twice, waited for about 15 minutes each, but there was no answer. At that point I called the maid services. I complained about not having the linens and the blankets for extra beds, she assured me that she will deliver them to our rooms. Nobody delivered anything to our rooms. We used our jackets as blankets that night. Oh, yes, there was a dirty empty water bottle in our rollaway sofa bed, which flew across the room, when we opened the bed. As we were checking out, I described our night adventures to a girl at the counter. With a very sweet smile she wrote everything down in a computer, promising that a manager will call. Guess what? The manager did not call. I will never stay at this resort again, nor will I ever recommend it to anyone.

They charged $22 per day to park car and $10 per day for 24 hour internet connection. First day there, no towels in room, called and they delivered bath towels, no wash cloths or face towels. Long wait at front desk, only 2 persons staffing it with 6 available.

Good location and friendly staff. Peaceful. Ridiculous parking fees ($22.00 per night). Friendly and helpful staff. Area was peaceful, great for relaxing by the pool or taking a walk. Nice heated pools and jacuzzi.

Paradise Point Resort was an awesome experience. Our family really enjoyed the resort. Walkways, lagoons, and wildlife were amazing. The rooms were great. Very private resort.

Lovely, relaxing hotel on the bay. We had our choice of the refreshing pool or the beach. Early morning coffee on the sand, looking at the calm of the ocean was the most enjoyable cup of coffee I've had in a long while. In the evening we spent hours chatting by the fire in the firepit on the bay; just steps from our bungalow. A walk around the property was like walking in a tropical garden. The bungalows offered privacy and there wasn't the noisy hallways of a hotel building. The front desk staff, dining staff and rooms staff were friendly and professional. We will return as often as possible!

The hotel reminded me of hotels in the Caribbean. Everything is 1 story and the grounds are very lush with tropicals that it becomes very quiet and peaceful. Especially after a day touring and on the highways. Our room was one of the rooms right on the bay. Beds were very comfortable and the layout of the room was great. We requested extra pillows and they answered the phone greeting me by name and service was quick. We also could park our car right next to the room....so great for bringing in food, drinks etc. rather than having to park, and get in an elevator to get to your room. Yes, maybe the room could use some minor updates, but nothing that would keep us from staying here again.

The grounds were beautiful with some waterfront rooms. I do not like having to pay a resort fee when we don't use the amenities and I don't like to pay for parking. The grounds were beautiful, the staff was very helpful and friendly.

My wife and I returned to Paradise Point because we enjoyed it so much the first time. The service is friendly and the ambiance is one of palm trees, ponds, mission bay and friendly ducks waiting to be fed. It doesn't have the feel of a hotel but rather of a beach resort. I would recommend checking travelocity to book a room - I was able to find a great rate. Bottom line - we loved staying there.

Love this place! Bungalows/Cassitas are very comfortable and private. We had adjoining rooms which was nice for those wanting to go to bed earlier while the rest stayed up until wee hours visiting. Afforded us privacy while remaining together. Grounds are lush, green and well maintained. We especially enjoyed being able to take a few steps to the beach for walks or a relaxing bonfire. We walked across the hotel property from the restaurant and enjoyed discovering all the activiites available. I stayed at Paradise Point in early Spring and the ambience and service was excellent. I brought my friends visiting from out-of-state. They loved it as well!
