Great value for the money. A little run down; it needs to be updated and repaired. Overall an excellent experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and the location was perfect. However, the building is deteriorating and needs upgrading. This detracts from the hotel stay.

Very good value for money when compared with other hotels/resorts on Paradise Island. Staff are friendly and the hotel is comfortable - although looking a little "tired".

Hotel is in need of great repairs. Poor activities, not a very up beat dry, food can use some help, quality is so so.

My wife and I who are in our mid 50's took a 3 day vacation over the July 4th holiday. From the brochures Harbour Resort looked great with a nice (albeit) small beach. Also the all inclusive food and drinks sold us on the deal compared with prices from the Atlantis. First of all the beach... almost non existent (my estimates would be about 30 feet wide by 50feet long) pretty lame! Next was the all inclusive food and drink... The qualilty of the food was absymal! .My tip to all of you who decide to visit this place is to stock up on carbs at breakfast. There are 2 restaurants plus 1 buffet. The only restaurant that was halfway bearable was at poolside and it would take between 1-1-1/2 hours to receive your food after you order. Because of the price the hotel attracts all the teenagers. It looks like spring break all the time. Most of the time 1 elevator was broken and I was told that the doors to the emergency stairs were locked to prevent people from using them. (This is only hearsay) Needless to say this hotel had a lot to be desired and inspite of this we still had a good time. The real beach is only a 10-15 minute walk and how can you possibly be sad when you are in a glorius place like paradise island! On a positive note...The staff for the most part were very pleasant and helpful.

We enjoyed the weather, the pool side bar and food available at the pool. Chicken wings, philly steak sandwiches, hamburgs, toasted cheese. The hotel room were clean, but very dated with only one side chair in a huge room. Balcony was really small and they charged us $300 to upgrade to a room with a balcony and a king size bed. The bed did not have a fited sheet and we ended up sleeping on the mattress most nights. The food was plentiful, but poorly presented and I never got a cup of coffee that did not taste burned. Plenty of fruit both fresh and canned. Desserts were good and always available. Pool was large, but really in need of a good cleaning and one day the maintenance staff actually strung an electric extention cord across the pool, fortunately someone quickly realized their error and removed the cord from the pool.

Convenient location near Atlantis and nice beach. Staff could have been more friendly. Slow service. food selection at buffet was very limited. No food after 10pm. Bathroom need maintenance. the pool and the pool bar/grill are good. Not bad for the price.

If you need to be entertained all day or are fussy then you might not want to stay at this resort. But If you want an affordable vacation destination in the Bahamas on Paradise Island on the cheap then my friend this place is for you. Coveniently located nearby downtown Nassau, a few minutes walk to one of the best beaches in the caribbean ( Cabbage Beach) and nearby to the fabled Atlantis where their casino is more than happy to take your $ ! Shopping and restaraunts nearby as well, while the all-inclusive feature does include food and beverages, you still have otherr options. I have stayed at this reosrt a total of three times in the last four years and would return no problem. Transfers by Majestic tours from/to airport were professional and courteous. Take the water taxi into Nassau for half the price of a cab. With the cash you save by staying here you can take the Robinson Crusoe cruise to a remote island where you can snorkel, swim, lay in a hammock, play volleyball, enjoy a BBQ lunch and just take in the caribbean sun. Take yourself or the kids to the pirate museum in Nassau or maybe visit the Hard Rock Cafe and have a burger and bring home a t-shirt to your favorite rock star. All this I have done based out of this decent resort for the budget minded consumer. Friendly staff, good buffet, and a nice sized pool which by the way has a bar/grill located in close proximity.

We(me and my wife) stayed at this hotel from 6/30-7/4/08 and we had a decent time. The first thing that I want to point out is that the service/staff was great and tried to accomodate all of our needs. The food(buffet) and the resteaurant(Harbor View) served fresh food that was great for the money that we paid to stay there, and the all-inclusive part you can't beat. The drinks were great and we were never hungry. The hotel location was OK, there was really no real beach(it was a 10 minute walk to Cabagge beach, which was an easy walk and the beach was amazing). The pool was great and if you don't care about going to the beach then the pool will satisfy all of your needs and you will have access to unlimited drinks and food while sitting by the pool. The downside of this hotel is that it is in need of a serious renovation. There were a couple of water leaks in the lobby and the bathroom while we were there and when you walk into the lobby you will see a few water stains on the celings . Our first room had a water leak from the A/C and we were moved to another room overlooking the harbor and the pool...it was an amazing view. Another downside is that on 7/2/08 about 80 highschool seniors(through gradcity.com) checked into the hotel and that's when everything went down the hill. They took over the pool and were getting drunk and being obnoxious every single day after that..they were there for a week. They would come back from the clubs and bars and would make a lot of noise...This hotel should have never allowd this. I'd think about staying here again at a different time of the year

The air went out in the room so when had to cahnage rooms in the middle of the night. The toliet was leaking and they came to fix it on the day we checked out.

So-called hotel beach consists of a sliver of harbor water, separated by a barrier from harbor traffic. To get to a real ocean beach, walk about 15 minutes to other side of island. That public beach is excellent. Room maids were slow in replacing wet towels and toiletries (shamppo, etc.) Compared to my other Caribean island vacations, ovarall stay was slightly better than average.

The resort needed to be renovated and updated Sitting by the river was the nicest, not what I would call a beach Walking distance to downtown was nice Variety needed to be added to the food We were there to do nothing, which was a good thing, Activities were dull

Our stay here was terrible. I never thought I would have a bad vacation like this one. Everything in here was broken. Gun games didn't have guns. The pool table was broken. The karaoke machine broke. There's barely any activities going on. But the worst things was the water that made my friend sick. The hotel lost power and their filter stopped, but they didn't tell the guest. We smelled a bad odor from the water which was mixed with the soda. I told the hotel staff and they said they knew, meanwhile they didn't tell anyone about it. A few days after we came home my friend found out that she has a throat infection, which the doctor said was probably from the filter stopping. This hotel was terrible. Spend a little more money and stay someplace else. Saving money is not worth losing your health. Oh, and the beach is so small. There's nothing to do here.

vomit in the pool, black mold in the room and hallways, unfriendly staff. Garbage all over the very very small beach. This hotel caters to newly highschool graduates, many kids were making out and going crazy. After the elevator broke down with people trapped in it we left checked out. Not worth your time. Worst all inclusive i have ever been too.

Hotel was fine. Food was good, service was good, location was excellent. Physical appearance had some wear and tear but this was not a 5 star resort so to be expected. We plan on returning as soon as work schedules allow.

After reading many reviews my husband and I wondered if we'd made a huge mistake-it sounded like the hotel from hell or worse. well all we can say is Get over yourselves!! No,it is not a 5 star resort but we had a blast-the pool is absolutely fabulous and crystal clean. The staff was friendly and helpful and couldn't have been nicer. Our room was clean and spacious and while the bathroom was a little "old fashioned" we had a great shower and hot water to spare. The food was o.k.-we would recommend making reservations at the sit down restraunt at night and one drawback is no food is available after 10p.m. There is not a lot going on at night but we walked over to the Atlantis and gambled every night. we went into town a few times-the water taxi is fun and cheap but you can't be in a hurry as it only goes on the 1/2 hour. There is no beach to speak of-reviewers are right about that so if you are real beach lovers stay somewhere else. This was our first all inclusive experience (we are really devoted cruisers but didn't have 10 days to go this time) and we would do it again in a flash. As for our demographics we are "baby boomers" and found the crowd to be mostly younger with many families-the children were all well behaved and we enjoyed the number of little ones (we are grandparents!!). Any way, great value for the money-don't be afraid to come!!

Although the staff was friendly-one staff member even drove us to dinner on our anniversary, the hotel itself left much to be desired. When we checked in, there's was only one person at the desk and a large group ahead of us-so it took 30 min. just to get to the desk and check in. When we went up to our floor, we were immediately hit with a musty smell in the hallways and our room as well. We were surprised by the size of our room because it was much larger than what we imagined. However, the bathroom was old and in need or updates/repairs and the only towels you get are face towels (no actual bath size towels) and they were dingy. These are things we could have lived with but unfortunately we arrived during a "Senior Week" class trip. Needless to say it was like being in the middle of spring break in Cancun. We even had one kid smash an exit sign on our door at 1 in the morning and when we tried calling down to the front desk to explain the escalating situation, no one answered. The food is OK-nothing out of the ordinary. And we even tried their "reservations only" restaurant and it really wasn't all that different. Overall, I'd rather pay a bit more and go some place else on our next trip to the Bahamas.

it was a very nice hotel. staff was super friendly and helpful in all areas. pool, and dining was super. close to the beach, a short walk, but well worth the time to walk over and spend the day. very secure and safe environment at all times.
