The accommodation was basic, but clean and value for money compared to the cost of other hotels in the town. However, my room was located at the rear of the building facing into a square central area along with the rear of buildings on three other sides. Unfortunately seagulls were nesting in this central area and squawked all night every night. There were at least two nights that I hardly slept at all, and while I realise this is not the fault of the hotel, it is having an adverse effect on the experience of their guests, and they need to lobby their local Council to get the birds removed.

Excellent in the heart of BathVery good continental breakfast laid on. Decent sized room, clean and welcoming. Only hiccup was the bath was not for tall people! Food wise go to Cyrstal Palace for great reasonable priced food and las Igananas was good too - a Latin mix of food, Spanish, Mexican & Brazilian.

Central and Convenient for Bath and where William Wordsworth once lived!The hotel is a tourist hotel offering budget accommodation but that said, the standard of cleanliness and the courtesy of staff was excellent. We were warmly greeted by the same person who telephoned to confirm our bookings and treated with respect. Although lacking some of the 'perks' of the large chain hotels, we were very impressed with the care that was taken and the housekeeping.Car Parking facilities are close by in the local municipal car park and the only negative in our experience are the drop-off facilities at the entrance which is regularly used by bus and coach parties including the local tour bus operator.I would like to compliment the staff for their diligence and hard work. It is obvious that there is good leadership and management. From a business perspective, the hotel has huge potential to generate more revenue if it so wished in an ideal location.

There is a disco or club in the basement of the hotel which does not close until approx 2am. The noise from revellers was particularly loud and as the weather was very warm I could not close the windows. Not a very relaxing nights sleep. The rest of the hotel was clean and I have no other complaints. Breakfast was fine and there did not seem to be a shortage of anything.

Perfect locationWe went for an overnight stay to visit the University with our teenage son, arrived quite late, staff very helpful, suggesting local places of interest. We had booked for a 3 bedded room, were given a family suite with beds for 6 guests. The bathroom was a bit dated but the shower was a lot more powerful than it looked! Fantastic location, staff recommended Tilley's Bistro for an evening meal, was about 2 minutes walk away and great food. The hotel is so close to everything, parking available around the back of the hotel, if you pay at the pay and display meter after 8pm it counts for the hours after 8am next day.The contintental breakfast is always a little disappointing if you are used to an English Breakfast, but there was a big selection and hot eggs and toast on offer too, so don't moan and just make the most of what is available!

17 Young women Please I have no faults with this Hotel, it's in a great location in walking distance from the Railway Station. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room size was amazing, with plenty of electrical sockets, lights an mirrors, (ladies can't get enough of mirrors). Tea and Coffee available. Plenty of Hot Water, and towels.Great Bar and atmosphere (Lions Tour started). I'd definitely stay here again and plan to.

We were disappointed to find our room at the top of 3 flights of stairs with no lifts, no on-suite bathroom and a view of a brick wall, 3 feet away, outside our window. Also we were disappointed with the breakfast on offer, that also meant descending the 3 flights of stairs, walking through the ground floor of the hotel and ascending another flight of stairs to the 1st floor.

I brought my mum here because it was central to Bath and was a bit apprehensive about finding it in the car. Not only was it easy to find but there was a 24hr car park right behind the building. We were so impressed with the room it was big and big bathroom too. There was lovely furniture and huge windows - fitting with the period building. the view was amazing as we faced parade park and could see the abbey. The city is on the doorstep and wasnt really noisy at all! I would stay here again but I am going to bath spa uni in sept!! But i would most definatley reccomend to anyone! Very very good!!

OKThis Ben and Breakfast could be considered for an average 1 night stay but fo a long term stay I would definatelf not recomend. Attempts are made to clean but when we arrived there were hair on the bed and floor ,stains on the bathroom floor . As reception closed at 6pm we had no choice but to attempt to clean ourself. The Bar was great but sadley cant say the same about breakfast.

Bank Holiday Weekend StayParade Park has a fantastic location - really central, easy walking distance to everywhere. Room was good - large, lots of light from big windows, firm but comfortable beds. Only downside was probably the small sized ensuite. We were at the back of the hotel, so room was quiet - it would possibly be a little noisey if you had one on the street side, but you have to accept that risk if you want a central location!Breakfast finishes a little early if you want to sleep in - we missed it the first morning, but were pleasantly surprised by it on the second - lots of choise and plenty left considering it was busy and we were one of the last. Would definitely return.

Pleasant room in great locationThe guy behind the check-in desk was very warm and laidback. Very good introduction to the hotel. I stayed in 15A. It was an extremely comfortable room - perfect for a single traveller. The bed was very good and the room was very clean. As a 6'2\" male, however, the low-hanging lampshade had to be negotiated (unsuccessfully after a couple of drinks), and the mirror above the basin was awkward to look in to while standing bolt upright. Though, these are extremely trivial criticisms for a room that I would stay in again without hesitation. The continental breakfast was the standard fare - there was ample, it was fresh and the girls in the kitchen were keen to help.Bath is not an extraordinarily large town, but this the hotel is in an absolutely ideal location.

Parade ParkNice B&B in the centre of Bath. Rooms small and a little dated, but comfortable and clean. Perfect town centre location.
