The Pair-A-Dice Hotel is a nice looking hotel with an attractive lobby and bar. Rooms are reasonably sized with attractive furniture. After checking in with the less than enthusiastic staff, I went to my room to discover that it STUNK as if a group of people had smoked cigars and pipes in the room. I can not believe that the hotel's staff would consider a room in that state ready for occupancy. And I smoke an occasional cigar! I returned to the front desk to request another room and was informed that there were none. I was told that they would send someone up to the room to 'freshen it up'. I stopped in the lobby bar to discover that, although nice looking (and small), it was incredibly loud. After all of that, I decided to leave the premises and dine elsewhere. When I returned to my room, it still stunk, maybe a little less, and after checking for an available room again, was stuck in that room for the night. Nothing about the banquet room, the quality of the food or the presentation was in any way impressive. I was confused as to why someone would bother tracking people that ate there with the tickets.

It was in a good location. Staff was very rude. Room was dirty. TV did not work. This was an awful hotel. The food in the casino (the hotel has no food service) was especially bad. It was buffet style and it was cold and not visually appealing. The staff was very rude and the bathroom in the hotel was dirty. Even the tub had leftover ring around the tub remains from the last guest.

This hotel is basically an adjunct to the casino, however access to downtown is not too difficult.

Location to the casino. Uncomfortable bed. The hotel overall was very nice. However, the only real thing to do in the area was go to the casino. It is pretty much in an area of the city on it's own. We had to travel several miles to get to another restaurant or Wal-Mart. The resturants at the hotel/casino were extremely overpriced. The food was all right but it wasn't worth $40 for 2 people. Also, if your looking for a vaction that isn't just the casino then this isn't for you. The staff there also agrees that there isn't anything else to do in the area.

the par a dice hotel is conveniently located a short distance from the casino. this gives you a chance to break away from the action totally. the room was a fairly large standard room w/king size bed. it had the standard amenities for an above average hotel. there was an in room safe for those who wish to store their money in a safe place, when not gambling. different vending machines were located on every floor and you had a good choice of selections. dining was basically in the casino area. we were somewhat disappointed that there was no dining in the hotel. if the weather was inclimate you would have to outside to the casino or get in your car to eat somewhere else. not to many places to sight see but, we found some.
