Paniolo Greens is a great place for families as we offer all the comforts of home. Situated on the beautiful Kohala Coast, it has a country feel - quiet and relaxing. Hotel amenities include activities desk, gas barbecue grills, free parking, outdoor pool, children's pool, children's activities, whirlpool, sundeck, and horseshoe pit, tennis court, internet access, free local calls, playground, and fitness center. The airport is 25 miles away and approximately a 50 taxi fee.Accommodations are two-story villas featuring private, furnished lanai, two bedrooms and two baths, king bed in master and either one queen or two twins in guest room and queen sized sleeper. Size of room. This place was an awesome hotel, big and spacious, bedrooms upstairs with bathrooms, full kitchen, balcony's and very nice!

The first thing to keep in mind when booking this hotel is that it is not by the water. In fact, it is inland and you will have to drive about 6 miles or more to all beaches. I knew this when I decided to stay in this hotel, so it wasn't an issue, since we were planning to drive all over the island anyway. The hotel itself was very clean and quiet. It is adjacent to a golf course and with a rare exception of occasional early morning golfers, we hardly bumped into anyone, which was nice. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and responded to my calls relatively quickly. Our room did not have internet connection (not sure if that's true for all rooms) and the staff let me use the hotel's conference room whenever I needed to work. This hotel is less than a mile from Waikoloa Village Market, a full size supermarket, which I very convenient if you are planning to cook a lot. King's Shops area is about 7 miles from the hotel.

accom very clean and the staff was great. I would stay there again.very quiet and relaxing. the big island, is well, the big island so expect to drive abit from here.Not far though as we found many excellent beaches/resorts/shopping somewhat close.

Excellent hotel. A bit out of the way, so you'll need a rental car to get around. The rooms are excellent, people are friendly, and the service is great. Very clean. If you want quiet, this is the place.

The Greens provide large rooms for the price. However, they're a little removed from activities on the island. Then again, the Big Island requires a bit a driving to explore. If you plan on driving, the location isn't bad. If you plan on staying put, there isn't much to do nearby.

The staff at activities counter were very personable. Paniolo Greens was clean, friendly and close to everything. The condo was well-laid out, and had all the comforts of home. The pool and hot tub area were immaculate.

Was very noisy at night, close to the road. Golf course was mowed everyday starting at 5:30am. Great place to stay if you love to golf. Very noise with road noise and golf course maintenance. One bedroom units are two story and very spacious. Really have not complaints except not quite and relaxing as it should be for Hawaii.

Large rooms. No wireless or high speed in room, hotel not staffed at night. The rooms are large. This would be a great place for families, given that the we were given a 2 bedroom condo. However, the short comings of the hotel were large. If you check-in after hours, the sign says to find the security guard at the pool. Except, there are no signs to the pool! The property is so large that it took more than half an hour. One night we came back late, not finding any open restaurants in the area (a holiday weekend). We thought we could grab something to eat at the hotel. Lo and behold, no bar, no restaurant, no mini-bar at the hotel! So we tried to call the hotel operator or concierge for suggestions of what to do. Guess what, the hotel is not staffed at night! The recorded message said to leave a message that will be retrieved in the morning, or if it is an emergency, please call 911. Discouraged, we tried to hook up to the internet to find something in the area. Guess what? There is no wireless internet or wired high speed internet in the rooms! This was confirmed by the staff the next morning.

The staff was very helpful. The condos were very clean. We had never stayed at this condos before.This was our first time and it was great. Every labor day we head over to the westside of the island and now tha tpriceline has this to offer we will be looking forward to statying again.

Spacious, good beds, good facilities. Staff did not have good recs for dinner, other activities. In the middle of nowhere if you don't golf. Need a car! Very nice. Need a good car.

The hotel was nice for the amount we paid but the service was poor. They treated us unfairly, they discriminated and embarrassed us. The management there was very unprofessional. They said that the fact that we paid less didn't give us the right to enjoy the facilities in the same manner as the other guests that paid double the price that we did and because we didn't make the reservations way in advance. They continuously picked on us the whole time.
