Professionalism, courtesy, cleanliness, promptness, excellent quality, perfect location and excellent service. Nothing. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who needs to do business within it's location. It's very clean, staffs are very courteous and helpful, room is very clean, buffet is great, hotel atmosphere is very nice.

the surrounding area get congested with heavy traffic easily and during raining season gets flooded easily on top of the traffic congestion...

The hotel was outstanding. The service was better than any I have seen. You may as well pay the extra couple of bucks for a place as nice as this. From beginning until the end the staff was outstanding; much better than any other hotel I have visited in the Philippines.

The Pan Pacific in Manila was comfortable enough but, tends to nickel and dime you for everything. In all, my stay there was very enjoyable and I would rate the butler service from 1 thur 10, 10 being the highest a 10+. The Pacific lounge has a wonderful breakfast buffit and you must try the ham it was the best I have ever eaten. The pool was very clean and the pool area was nice as well. I enjoyed the view from the elevators. I would definalty stay there again on my next visit to Manila!

Pan Pacific is a high class hotel in a great location. Many restaurants in the hotel and nearby. Close walk to Robinson's Mall if you need supplies. The hotel staff is the most helpful I have ever experienced.

First off, when I arrived at the hotel with my companion, they Deluxe Room that Travel online had assured me would have two beds, had only one King bed. The Hotel apologized, and seemed very surprised that Travel online would guarantee me two beds with my reservation. This was absolutely horrifying. The Hotel relocated me, and apologized profusely, but it was still very disturbing. I was also very disappointed to learn that such a classy hotel would charge for internet usage. The buffet breakfast in the morning was extravagant, but so was the price...about 25 USD, with no other options other than room service. The security of the Hotel is adequate, which is necessary as the location is not desirable. The neighborhood is improving, but still retains much of its seedy, red-light reputation. The Hotel-provided transportation is ok, not cheap, but not outrageously over-priced...it?s just the price you have to pay for safe transportation in Manila. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. I would never stay at the Pan-Pacific again, and do not recommend it to anyone. There is a reason the rates are so affordable. It is a, mediocre, struggling, nickel and diming Hotel, masquerading as a high class operation. What you might save in the room rates, you will over-pay for in amenities, food, and transportation. Please do yourself the favor of avoiding this Hotel, and treat yourself to something you won't regret. (By the way, their pool/jacuzzi gave both me and my friend a horrible rash after swimming...)

I found the staff very friendly and having stayed there before they had noted that and welcomed me back, a simple but nice touch, as was the courtesy of all the staff and X, the manager. The rooms are spacious and very clean, bathrooms large and spotless. Room service food very good quailty. Usually the hotel includes either free internet connection or free breakfast (you choose which) so if you want to use the net and are put of by the breakfast prices there are many cafes open from the early hours just a few steps from the hotel. Personally I preferred the breakfast and going to an internet cafe as the business centre prices are too high. The breakfast is truely great, the evening meals are good but European wines are expensive. The small pool area is nice, relaxing and there is a gym downstairs. Security is first class. The travel arranging facility is not overpriced and very efficient. International phone calls from your room are quite cheap too. The area of Malate does look a bit seedy, but it is the real Manila and I had no problems walking around at night, it has a busy, bustling and vibrant charm. Taxis flow by all the time so transport is no problem (always ask for a price for where youre going first tho). Having stayed at a number of hotels in this area before the Pan Pacific is definately one of the best.

Pan Pacific is hands down the finest combination of service and price I've ever seen. When I broke my glasses at 1:00 AM the Building Engineer was there in less than 15 minutes to repair them and that was the longest I waited for ANYTHING ! Room service is both prompt and courteous to a fault Although the neighborhood does leave something to be desired security is always there keeping an eye out. I would not hesitate to recommend Pan Pacific to anyone, it's all about class and the staffs are class acts each and everyone of them.

I love this hotel! The service was impeccable from the moment we arrived. The rooms were comfortable, clean and beautifully furnished. The beds are wonderfully comfortable. Robinson's Mall is a short walk away. We plan to stay at this hotel when we next visit Manila.

"This hotel is gorgeous, the pictures do not do the hotel justice. The staff was amazing. I am not sure how, but every staff memeber would acknowledge us by name!"

"All in all the Hotel is a good bargin the rooms are big and clean. A little bit scary was the TV over the bath tube. Fixed not very proffesional. You can have a great time but hands off from any extra service- I travel a lot but i never got charged like here. One Water, 11 min Fax, 10hrs. Internet and the transport to the airport result unresonable 200 US$ Never again I will use more than the room in this hotel."

"I live and work in NYC. I have traveled to hotels and resorts throughout the Caribean, Europe, the continental US and Hawaii. By all accounts this is a solid 4 star hotel. The drawback of this hotel is its location. It is far from Makati and Ortigas. Also, the hotel is located in Malate/Ermita. "
