This recently remodeled property is located in Moscow, ID in the heart of the Palouse Region. The University of Idaho is a short walk away, and Pullman, WA is only minutes away. Hotel was cheap. Found out why it was so cheap when we entered the room. Super hard bed, flat pillows. The only plus as the movie that was HBO was good. Complimentary breakfast included a shared gallon of sunny D and prepackaged lil debbie hot buns. I should have spurlged and got a nicer place. there is always next time.

This is my third year staying at the Palouse Inn for our summer conference. The property has shown a number of improvements over the years and the staff has always been helpful. If you are okay with staying at a place that is not a big name franchised hotel, then this hotel has good value. They also have free high speed internet which is great if you have to catch up on work or check email. The only downer I had was the guest laundry room was closed because they were having new equipment installed.

The Palouse Inn in Moscow was relatively comfortable for the price. They have some food options in the lobby in the morning. My only complaint was that the shower in my room was cold. I let it run for a while and it never warmed up.

Desk & cleaning staff were friendly; room was humble, but fairly clean. Quiet. Carpet in our room needed replacing. Considering the location and price, this wasn't a bad choice. We were only staying one night; a lengthy stay may have been less pleasant. Towels and sheets were clean and smelled good. The interior decor was simple and economical, certainly not fancy in any way. No hair dryer, microwave, or other such ammenities. It was a plain, honest, fair-deal kind of place.

For a bargain hotel, this one is quite nice. Very quiet, clean, and conveniently located. Rooms are plain but functional. Free wireless broadband. Beds are too hard for my taste, and pillows are woefully thin. Bring a pillow!

The Palouse Inn is a good value, but you need to be spartan in your expectations. One of my credit cards wouldn't process on check-in. The room was clean but outdated. A biker was given the room next to mine when he blew in at midnight even though there were very few occupants at the motel that night and he could have been accommodated at a more appropriate distance from sleeping guests. Good proximity (reasonable walk) to the Univ of Idaho campus.

asked for a 30 minute extension on check out time. front deck said ok but no later! called back and the manager said they needed the room I need to be out by 11. I called at 10:45. The shower leaked. Bathroom mirror was not mounted on wall just leaning on the back of sink. AC didn't work. Crack in door jam.

The Palouse is what I would call a budget hotel but located very well for access to the University of Idaho. It was clean, the staff was cordial but had few luxuries or amenities.

Cheap, clean and good location. Small room, prehistoric television and no bathtub (shower only). I stayed here while I was visiting a friend in town, who did not have the room to put my wife and me up. The room was clean and comfortable and the rate was very reasonable. However, the room was small, and the television, while it worked fine, and had a set-top box which gave it a remote and cable capabilities, was quite old. There was no bathtub in the room, only a shower. Overall, however, this was decent, basic accommodation.

Not fancy, but clean, and comfortable. It was nice to have a microwave and fridge. Room was a little small and furnishings were plain but certainly everything one could need. A good value for the price. Convenient location

Room was cramped. Convenient location off the highway so it was quiet. Amenities were sparse - outdoor pool, no hot tub, no hair dryer, very outdated TV but it did have cable access. The queen bed and double bed filled the room; however, we did not spend that much time in the room. Staff was very friendly and most helpful.

It was close to the University. The receptionist could have been more friendlier. The hotel was clean and a good location.
