Very good friendly and helpful staff at reception. The suite was tastefully decorated with modern furnishings. The only downside was that several slats in the bed frame kept breaking - it was an IKEA frame too, which was a suprise for a Hotel!

The location of the hotel is great, as just as the price offered by venere. Breakfast is served at a tablet in your room and you have to eat it in bed (no table with chairs around - just one design-chair in the room). Because you dont have to clean the bed after it by yourself, its a great thing starting the day. I really can recommend this hotel.

We picked this property due to its location and the fact that it had a kitchen. We were not disappointed with the location as it was a great base for exploring Roma. Really is 5 mins from Colosseum! The metro stop is less that 10 mins walk away but we only used it to get to the vatican. On the kitchen front thanks to another reviewers comments I had requested it to be kitted out at time of booking but found nothing in it on arrival. They did sort this out when I asked at reception. The kitchen is tiny with small fridge, sink, hob and washing machine (which was a nice surprise), but no kettle! The staff are very nice and very helpful. The room we had did not seem as spacious as some of the pictures on the website and while it was lovely having breakfast brought to the room each morning it would have been even nicer to have a table to eat it at (same goes for having a kitchen and eating dinner on our laps on the bed!) Advice for hotel, a kettle and a table please!! The rooftop terrace has nothing on it yet, perhaps this is still planned as we could have ate there if there was tables as it has a lovely view! We will return to this property as overall it was good value for Rome and we made friends with the lovely people at the bar next door.

Originally booked in for 2 nights and ended up staying 5. It was a wonderful location to complete my 7 week overseas adventure.

They have only recently opened and have plans to create a reception area downstairs and a rooftop terrace, both of which I think will greatly enhance the whole.

This is a superb boutique hotel with serviced apartments. While the entrance and reservation area is as yet incomplete, the rooms are simply wonderful and even equipped with a washig machine (a joy for a traveller who ha been on the road for weeks). The young staff were delightful and the location overlooking the Imperial fora is fabulous. I will definitely stay there again if I return to Rome

We stayed at Palazzetto degli Artisti for 4 nights in February 2008. We found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly, going out of their way to help us with bus routes, timetables, and anything else we asked them about. There is 24hr cover at the reception desk, so there's always someone to ask for help if you need it. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. In addition to the en-suite, there was a safe and a little kitchen with washing machine & full-sized fridge. The breakfast was very nice, served in the room, and was always delivered at exactly the time we had specified. It is approx. 5 minutes stroll to the Colosseum, 15 minutes to the Trevi Fountain, and a short bus ride from the Vatican. There are some nice restaurants & bars nearby, but being down a side road, it wasn't as noisy as some other parts of the city centre. We didn't feel like we were constantly surrounded by other tourists, which gave us a taste of the real Rome! Highly recommended.

A little gem in the middle of Rome - nicely restored, spacious and modern rooms. Great price/quality ratio.

The hotel was absolutely worth its money, in particular taking into account the high hotel prices in Rome. I found this location listed as apartment at venere, but it seems more like a hotel with a small reception and breakfast. It is very well located, only about 5-10 minutes walk from the Colosseum and virtually across the Fori Romani and we could walk to all other sightseeing spots (apart from the Vatican for which you will need to catch a bus). Still, it is quiet as the hotel is in a small alleyway. However, since we shared the room for three people, I slept in the front room facing the alleyway which was a little bit noisier than the actual bedroom because of people talking outside. But that was probably the only, very small downside. The outside of the hotel is like any other house or hotel, but the apartment and the whole interior of the hotel are surprisingly new and stylish and with high wooden ceilings. Bathroom and kitchen are small but perfectly fine since everything is so new and modern. For some reason, the kitchen was not equipped (i.e. no plates, cutlery etc.). Probably you need to ask for it but as we didn't need it we didn't ask. The breakfast is served in your room probably because there is no breakfast room but we were totally fine with that. It actually added to the feeling that we were staying in a special designer's place. I would definitely come back again and can highly recommend it.

It's more apartments than a hotel. When booking I somehow didn't take on board that breakfast would be in your room, or that there was no lounge or reception area to meet friends. Room, an unusual shape, looked out on building next door (very close) that was being rennovated. Fortunately work didn't start early.

| This is more of an apartment than a hotel and seems they are still getting things up and running. Originally we were given a room rather than the suite we had booked, but they sorted that out. The "suite" was still very small. There was a tiny kitchen but it was not equipped with anything so not a great deal of use.
The staff is very helpful and friendly. The location is excellent - right near the forum and plenty of restaurants/bars within walking distance. |
