I was on business and personal trip. I had the worst experience with this hotel services. I wish I can get some kind of reibursument or credit. This hotel was very unclean, very bad location, and services was terrible. The price for this hotel was too high for the service and specially how unclean the room was. On my previous trips I have taken for the price I had very good experience with other hotels rated about the same as this hotel.

This was the nearest location from South Padre Island available for the holiday weekend. Our vehicle was kicked, smashed and damaged by a drunken guest, giving us a bad taste of the "vacation."

They first gave us a room that had guest still in,they gave us a different room wich they later gave to another guest the same room we had.

I did miss the hair blow drier and iron but other thatn that it was perfect for the price. Maybe a dirty laundry bag will help too.

The Palace Inn Motel was comfortable, with ample room. I liked the fact that we had a microwave and a refrigerator in our room. We did find a dirty sock behind the dresser, but other than that, the room was clean. The location was great. 2-3 miles from the airport; a 20-minute drive to Padre Island (a straight shot, in fact)! Also, excellent location to the shops, stores, etc. Continental Airways messed up with our luggage, and the Motel was one block away from Wal-Mart, where we bought a fresh pair of clothing!!!! Except for some loud and rowdy neighbors on one occasion, the friendly and very nice staff made this stay very good.
