Stayed in Paris for 4 days. Paix Republique very central for metro and trains. The staff were very helpful recommending restaurants etc. Rabah the night porter was exceptionally helpful. Would recommend the hotel. Rooms weren't huge but bigger than expected.

Staff very friendly and extremely friendly. The room itself although quite small was well appointed and very clean. Breakfast consisted of a continental affair and there was a good choice of pastries and bread. We would stay here again.

The toilet was located immediately in front of the shower and was extremely dangerous as it had to be stepped over in order to get out of the shower.

Reasonably priced for Paris. Rotundra rooms maybe largest in Paris. Staff very friendly. Very convenient for metro: metro Republique entrance immediately outside hotel door. (5 lines run through Republique station) Only complaint is that the in-room wireless internet access was unreliable.

For a central Paris Hotel,if youm just want a comfortable bed with en suite, colour tv - with BBC, CNN you won't go far wrong. Quite a decent breakfast served in the cafe to the left of the hotel as you enter.

Our stay at Paix Republique was super! Everyting was as we thaught if should be! the staff was great and extremly helpful and the location was great, only 5 meters to the subway. Other hotels that we used is nothing compared to Paix Republique. The only thing we didn't lika was the breakfast. It was a little to expensive for not much food, but many cafés around the hotel was ok! Overall a superstay in Paris! Highly recomended!

Hotel, obviously once high-class, has seen better days, neighborhood so-so (or maybe I wasn't there long enough to fully appreciate the area). Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but wasn't ecstatic.

Great view on the "Sacré Coeur" from the single room below the roof!

The hotel was great for the price in Paris! The staff was friendly and spoke english wich was great as the french I took in Highschool is for the most part lost. The room was a bit small, but not bad at all. It is Paris though, and unless you are staying in a 5 star hotel most hotel rooms are small. But it was clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed it. We have stayed in another hotel in Paris and it was not nearly as nice as this for this price. I would definately stay here again. It was in a decent location for Paris, with a metro entrance right outside of the hotel. It is close enough to walk to a number of locations and attractions if you really want to soak up the cultures of the city. We were very happy with our stay here and as I said we would definately stay here agian. I hope anyone who chooses this hotel has as good of an experience as we did.

I made my reservation for a triple room on the internet, upon arrival I was given the choice of a very small room with two single beds and a cot for the price quoted or for an additional 45 Euro I could have a room with a queen size bed and a day bed. I think this practice is deceptive and I am not happy about a complete misrepresentation of the room I booked and to offer a better choice for and additional fee.

Located on a main street, so a bit noisy and hot (in summer) without airconditioning. Reception staff quite helpful and breakfast was adequate. Telephone system was unreliable due to a fault. A lot better value for money than you'd get in an equivalent London hotel.

Accommodation was average to above average. However a couple of things to note. We asked for a double bed in both rooms but got two single beds joined together. We were not adviced that we were going to be charged for parking until we had done it. If we had known that we were to be charged we would not have bothered as we were only their on a Saturday eve and Sunday morning, both times where we could have parked for free outside. Rooms were good and clean and the satff were very kind to us which was nice. Would recommend it to others.
