this is the 2nd kimpton hotel i've stayed in the last 2 months. my overall experience of their offerings has been very positive: helpful staff -after a minor glitch in the reservation, they upgraded my room! beautiful surroundings of course, evening wine, restaurant all very well presented. i will look for these hotels first when travel beckons.

Very nice hotel. A wonderful location with a great staff. Internet was free for the first 30 minutes each day. Room was very clean with a great view. The decor, in good shape, should be modernized!

To me people make the difference in any customer service environment and everyone at the Pacific Palisades Hotel Vancouver seemed to genuinely care about the customer as if the customer was a visiting family member.

My company hosted a reception at the Pacific Palisades Hotel Vancouver and it was terrific. They are very accommodating, friendly, and professional. The location of the hotel is perfect - right on Robson St. Some of the guest rooms allow for a wonderful waterview & you can watch the cruise ships coming and going. I would stay here again!

We were upgraded to the King Suite- always nice to have extra space and a kitchen area. We were able to walk to everything- shopping, great restaurant choices( check out the Banana Leaf on Denman!! Great Malaysian place), Gastown, Chinatown, Davie St...and more. This is the only hotel in Vancouver I will stay at from now on.

I spend 100 nigts a year in hotel rooms around the world and could not be happier than I was in my stay in this charming hotel. Rooms are great; charming and clean, nice balcoies and entertaining views. You cannot beat the location if you are in Vancouver to walk and shop.

Beautiful hotel right in the heart of shopping on Robson St. Hotel staff was amazing and extremely helpful with all our questions as this was our first trip to Vancouver. View from our room on the 15th floor was breath taking. Our room (King Exec Suite) was large, comfortable with all the amenities. Hotel hosts a wine reception for guests every evening which was a nice perk. You can walk to seawall and Stanley Park from the hotel. Lots of nice restaurants within walking distance. Tons of shopping right out the door and if you like to people watch, Robson St. is the place to be-especially on the week-ends. I would definitely recommend the Pacific Palisades Hotel Vancouver and would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is very nice, and the hotel staff was great. They helped us find all sort of great places to eat. Which was perfect, because the restaurant folks were very rude. We waited for 15 minutes for them to clean a table. Then when it was clean, they gave our table away to a group that just walked in because the other party had more people. They asked if we wouldn't mind, and that another would be available. Then came back and tried to make us wait another hour! We left.

The Pacific Palisades Hotel Vancouver is funky and in the middle of everthing. My husband, as usual, read a book, but I went shopping and everthing was close to the hotel. Great!

The Pacific Palisades was a very comfortable hotel for a family. We had a suite in the West Tower, with a bedroom, large living room with dining area, small kitchen, & a patio overlooking the city & the harbor. It was wonderful to have the small kitchen (mini fridge, microwave, & sink with dishes, etc.) as we were able to prepare our own breakfasts (there's a good organc grocery store a few blocks away). The pullout sofa in the living room was fairly comfortable & housekeeping made up the bed for us every evening & put it away every morning so we could enjoy the living room. The pool was great & much enjoyed by our 7-year-old. The hotel is centrally located on Robson Street with myriad choices for eating out & shopping, but Robson was a bit too loud for us; even though we were on the 22nd floor we could hear the reveling on the street on Saturday night until the wee hours of the morning.

This is a 3 star Hotel. It looks like they attempted to update the structure a few years ago, but wasn't successful. Location is great.

We were at the Pacific Palisades Hotel for a wedding. Everything was great and the staff was very accomodating and friendly. All were willing to share insight to the BEST of Vancouver, to make it an enjoyable stay. I look forward to a return visit.

I stayed 1 night in August for a business trip. The staff was great! The location is very central to everything being right on Robson. I loved the room! My room floorplan was like a 1 bedroom condo and very spacious. My room had awesome views in 2 directions. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. I would recommend the Pacific Palisades Hotel Vancouver to anymore and will stay again.

The hallways are a bit narrow and the elevators were small(but fast). The room was very clean, however definitely not up to par with the decor of the rest of the hotel. There were a few scuff marks here and there that they could have easily cleaned. We got a room with a view for 25 dollars more. It surprised me to see the AC unit in the wall but the heating system was central. The bed was king size (no down bedding here) and the sheets were clean (though obviously not high thread count). The best features of the hotel are: very commodating staff (lots of smiles, patient with direction giving, polite, attentive), great service (room was always very clean when we return and everything restocked), and the location. The hotel right by Robson street, so all the star attractions are right by it. You can walk to virtually everywhere. The positive traits overwrites the bad. I would definitely stay there again.
