| Very poor internet connections for those wanting to do business and the lifts require the inserion of your room card to make them operate......and many guests had trouble making that work. Not a good system. |

| Problems with one of the elevators--card reading device had to be remedied by learning a specific method of inserting the card. While holding the card in one hand the desired floor must be selected simaltaneously. Also, there is a staircase for the staff; however many tenants would be unaware of this in the event of an emergency. For example, in the event of a fire there should be a sign directing hotel occupants to that staircase. Windows could not be opened inside the rooms, (possibly for safety reasons). Occassionally, I desire to smoke one or 2 cigarettes during the evening, and will go outside to prevent smoke accumulation inside the room. It would be more convenient if the window could open at least partially --- Internet was available at the hotel and accross the street. Breakfast was also included. Overall the hotel was sufficient and the staff was friendly. All my needs were met and I enjoyed my stay at the Pacific Hotel in Phnom Penh. |

| We were very disappointed with this hotel. Our room was on the west side of the building and the air conditioning was not working properly. The security door entry key was also very faulty - it sometimes took 6 or more attempts for it to work!! When I brought this to the desk staff's attention they just shrugged! Not worth $30 US a night. We had booked for 2 nights but only stayed for 1 and found much better accomodation at a guesthouse near the river - across the road from a park for half the price!! |

| Abt 10min walk away from tsar mei...nice quiet clean hotel....breakfast was provided..not a great selection but ok if you're not too fussy....staff were pretty decent n helpful...thought it was out of my price range initially but i liked it in the end....only drawback is that smaller n cheaper guesthouses let u use their bathrooms to freshen up even after you've checked out but left your luggage there for the day.... |

| This hotel enjoys a prime location on a main street in walking distance to the Central Market. Rooms are rather large, over 25 square meters, with clean bathrooms, almost up to two star quality. Good aircon, large fridge
and water boiler all in proper condition. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast included in room rate but not tried after looking at the unappetising leftovers presented there. However a Starbucks style coffee place is available in two minutes walking distance. OK for those who prefer budget accommodation in the center rather at the river front. |
