Good location. Rooms need to be upgraded, but still OK. We were not in our room very much. shopping everywhere close to hotel. Hotel area was noisy, but I think all of Waikiki is noisy. It comes with the city life and all the hotels.

The room was clean, very spacious as well as the bathroom. Loved the view of the ocean as well as the city and mountain. Very quiet even though there were a lot of people on our floor. The location was great with lots of exciting things in the area. The beach is right across the street and everything is in walking distance. It was a great deal for the amount that I paid, which also included breakfast for 2.

Me and my wife were on our honneymoon for 8 days. It is a very reasonable hotel but nothing compared to Hilton Hawaiian village. Walking distance from everything and free shuttle drives around as well as bus route for only $2 pp. Hotel actually upgraded us to a large higher hotel room but it had two beds instead of one so we asked them to change it and they then downgraded us so I was a little disappointed about that.

The hotel is in a great location. Staff was very friendly. The pool is very small. And the Jacuzzi was closed. The rooms were okay. New carpet and paint. But the furniture was old. And the beds very uncomfertable.

It is in a great location, right by the beach. Maybe it was the person we ended up having to check-in with but she was rather unaccomodating at first with our room specifications. Other than that, the staff was very nice and friendly. The cafe of the hotel was convenient but the offerings were low on selection and quality.

This was my 2nd stay at Pacific Beach, and now I will never stay anywhere else. Location central to Waikiki. I had a beautiful view of Diamond Head. Best new discovery: Galexy restaurant on Kuhio, 2nd floor behind International Market Place: $4 breakfast, $12 steak dinner. The Flea Market/Swap Meet at Aloha Stadium has the BEST prices for shirts, sun dresses, etc. Open Wed/Sat/Sun. $12 round trip shuttle from hotel. Plan on 3 hours.

We vacation in Hawaii a few times each year. This time we chose a different hotel and were pleasantly surprised! There's an ABC Store in the Lobby, a Cafe for breakfast/snacks/big salads/best coffee, and the "Oceanarium" Restaurant was fabulous. The self-parking was easy and we felt safe. Really good restaurants in the area in walking distance. The best shopping was at the Aloha Bowl Swap Meet. Don't forget to walk to the nearby Zoo as well. This hotel is restful and quiet considering you are right at the beach. We will return soon.

Great location, very helpful staff, great stores, had services for tours, car rental, food, ATM in building, computer center. The pool is small and parking was high.

Great location (if you like Waikiki - which we did not), very efficient check in and out, unfortunately one restaurant only open on weekends, other "oceanarium" restaurant food was good but breakfast needs big improvement. But really nothing to complain about. Would stay again for stop over only -as we did not like the rumble of Waikiki

Our experience at Pacific Beach was great. We had a great view from our room. The room was clean and the staff was very helpful. Enjoyed the convenient location to the beach and many shops. The hotel was within walking distance of the zoo, aquarium, and many shops. The pool was small but the area around the pool was very relaxing place. Did not use the fitness center so I can not comment on it.

This is a great starting point for all the island's attractions. You can anywhere on the island from here in 45 minutes or less. It's on a busy hotel strip, so expect the street noise - some people like that - and great street performers. It's right across the beach, but we preferred visiting the other quieter beaches. The staff was really great there - and we got an upgraded beach view room due to the availability. The restaurant's food was supreme. I would recommend Pacific Beach Hotel - it's probably an 8 or 9 on a 10 pt scale, but a definite value.

Our first time staying on Waikiki. Will go back in a minute and stay at this great hotel. Value was wonderful, location fantastic. Out the front door, crossed the street and was on the sand. Dukes for breakfast, Cheesecake Factory for lunch and Bubba Gumps for dinner. It doesn't get any better than that. Room was clean, even had new toothbrushes and toothpaste waiting for us at check-in in our room. New flat panel TV, newer carpet. Was really hard to keep the balcony sliding door open when we were there because of the pigeons. Bold little guys just strut into your room looking for food. Couldn't keep the door open at night because of the street noise drifting up 27 stories. All in all, the best weeklong vacation we've ever had.

Good clean room,a little noisy but okay. Shopping within walking distance. Tours picked up at the Hotel which was a plus.

This hotel is in a great location. Everything is within walking distance on the strip. The buses are a block away and you can go any where you want. Do not rent a car, its cheaper to take the buses. If you are a senior go to the bus depot and by a pass. Would definetly stay at this hotel again. By the way they have the best mai tai's in all of Waikiki and they have a happy hour every day. Don't miss them.

They upgraded our room so that we had a beautiful view. Everyone was very friendly, and we would stay there again!
