My husband and I spent our 30th anniversary here and enjoyed every minute of it. I would recommend renewing your vows like we did. You can do this through the hotel. Everyone was very friendly and we would stay again in a heartbeat. We had a simple saver room and even though it was on the 2nd floor, we heard little street noise, which may have been due to being tired and sleeping well. No one told us that you needed to use your room key when you use the elevator, so keep that in mind. The drinking water at the pool was a nice touch, since you cannot take coolers, etc. down there. Previous reviews we read stated that the pool was small. I did not find that at all, however there is salt water in it that you keeps you afloot in the 8 ft. deep end. I found the pool very refreshing.

The location of the hotel is great. Walk from the pool directly on the beach and enjoy Waikiki Beach at its best. Have your lunch/dinner at Duke's and overlook the ocean. Besides a great location, the rooms are spacious and clean.

This hotel is great!! There are a ton of hotels to chose from and this is one of the best. It's right on the beach and near the shopping centers. The view from our room was great. The staff was always willing to help us and didn't act like it was a chore to help. The rooms were always clean when we returned from our daily activities. Dukes was great!!! You have to eat the breakfast, its great food!!!!

If you are looking for a great location, you cannot beat this hotel. It is in the heart of Waikiki directly across the street from the International market place. The worst part of the hotel was the elevator system. You had to use your room card to operate the elevator. Half the time you missed your floor by the time you got the card to work. I spent too much time joy riding to other floors before being able to stop at my floor. The pool was not worthy of spending time in especially if you have children. It is small, and is 4+ feet throughout. There is no kiddy pool area. It is not a pool you can enjoy. The beach is overly crowded. If you want a beach chair and umbrella the price is $40/day. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. They are great with giving out directions. The food was good and reasonably priced. The hotel had a nice laundry facility ($2.50/wash, $2.00 per 1/2 hour to dry).

We had two Oceanfront rooms. The view is spectacular. The hotel is right across the street from the International Market, which was nice because we were able to walk across and shop for souvenier just whenever we had some extra time between thing. The beach is right there just past the pool. If you get out there early, you can get a chair in the shade of the palm trees right between the pool and the sand. We went on some tours and were picked up just two blocks away. I thought about renting a car, but I was glad that we didn't. Between walking, public bus, tour bus, and taxis, we didn't really need one. We enjoyed Duke's restaurant for dinner and several quick breakfasts at Seattle's Best - both attached to the hotel. Only one minor complaint - we asked for a new internet cable and the front desk said no problemm they would bring it, but nobody ever showed up. Other than that, service was excellent.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel for it's convenient location and excellent quality of service. The staff was friendly and made my kids feel that they were at home. My teens did not want to leave! The beach, pool and beautiful views were great. Breakfasts at Dukes offered loads of variety and were of good quality. Our best meal of our vacation was at the Hula Grill. The fish was delicious.

I spent a week at Pacific Beach and couldn't have been more pleased. As a business traveler it's important that I have ample easy parking, quality restaurants with convenient hours, a nice place to relax, and a safe place to take an evening walk. I had all of this at Pacific Beach! Everyone there was wonderful, the view was incredible and I can't wait to go back on my next business trip!

Overall this is a great hotel, with excellent dining facilities. The Seattle Coffee bar in the hotel entry-way was a very great addition to the convenient availability of high end coffee/snacks.

We just spent a week in paradise helped by the staff at the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach. The staff treated us like royalty. Whether it was directions for activities or restaurants, or arranging a cab to Tokkuri-Tei, no request was too small or big for them, and they always had a smile on their face...even when helping us fight with the ragtop on the Jeep! We stayed in a city view room which gave us a view of the city and when you step out on the balcony a view of the beach and the surf. I'd go back in a heartbeat!!

The room we were given was on the first floor right next to the stairs. The stairs cut into our room, which made it extremely small and quite noisy. The bathroom was tiny. However, the location was great.

Very nice hotel. Staff were helpful, however having never stayed here before, we didn't really get oriented on the protocol of where everything was and how it all worked. For example, pool hours (hot tub closed early for restaurant) having to rent a beach chair/umbrella (had to get there early like 7:30am early or you missed out) stuff like that. It was nice, but I don't think it was worth the extra money it cost.

Upscale rooms with good view. Hotel layout very friendly. Staff was great. Parking was pricy but convenient. Good location for shopping and dining. Down side is that the pool is small and the beach can be crowded.

Outrigger Waikiki is at a great location, however, I don't see it really a luxury resort at all. The room is clean but small and the decor is outdated. Good thing about it is nice restaurant and good food, it also offer $10 off for cabana rental as a hotel guest.

Everything was better than expected. Even had a partial ocean view that was a plus. Beautiful property with all the luxuries of a resort.

I loved the hotel and it was an amazing location on Waikiki beach. They let us check in early and even provided a hospitality room the day I flew out so that I could freshen up before my flight.

Great location! Nice sized rooms. Clean. Very friendly staff. Very friendly to children. Parking fee was excessive but comparable with other hotels in general area.
