The elegantly-decorated vacation homes at the Outrigger Palms at Wailea are located on a hillside facing the scenic Wailea Coast, approximately 15 miles from Kahului Airport. Local attractions include Wailea Beach, located less than one mile away, and Kihei, approximately three miles from the resort.

The Outrigger Palms at Wailea's most distinctive feature is its whale-shaped outdoor pool. A whirlpool is also present. Other amenities include manicured gardens, babysitting services, free parking, free wireless Internet access spots, kids' programs, postcards, and a tour desk. Light daily housekeeping service is provided.

Each of the 85 vacation homes features air-conditioning in the master bedrooms (additional air-conditioning units are available by request and for a fee), alarm clocks, balconies, cable TV, VCRs, ceiling fans, Internet access (for a fee), irons and ironing boards, kitchens, dishwashers, ovens, microwaves, refrigerators, coffeemakers, cookware, tableware, and laundry facilities.
