Napili is a calm, restful location. After a few nights in Waikiki, the bay was a wonderful change. The hotel has beautiful gardens and is right on the beach. We had a garden room and were quite satisfied with the price and amenities. Many families were staying there and the children seemed to enjoy the grounds and the ocean. The outdoor grills were great for dinner or lunch. There is a grocery store not too far from the hotel that has most anything you would want for the barbie...or anything else.

This hotel was very nice, staff was very friendly, outside was beautiful and beach was right behind the hotel.

We had a really good experience at the Napili Shores. The unit was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The property was nicely laid out, well kept and the limited number of units was favourable in terms of noise & congestion. Location right next to the beach was great. Gazebo Restaurant had a great location, but food could have been a little better.

We were upgraded to an oceanview unit (Building H 162). We were very happy with the service, the facilites and would stay again. We found the premises generally peaceful (there were families with kids and it was a full weekend). There is a line throughout the morning for the Gazebo restaurant, but even though our unit was closeby it was not disturbing to us. There is great dining within a 5 minute drive (Roy's in Kahana Marketplace, Merriman's just around Napili Bay toward Kapalua). It was a bit windy while we were there, but we did some snorkeling in Napili Bay and saw lots of whales and sea turtles. The front desk gives you beach towels that are replaced on request. Also, we stayed 4 nights and housekeeping stopped in after 2 nights to tidy up. Kitchen adequate, only used for breakfast. I would recommend this place and highly recommend Napili - much more laid back than Kaanapali, but that is a personal preference.

The staff was very helpful and very nice. The welcome we receive was wonderful. The beach was right outside our back door and the grounds were so well kept and beautiful. The pool area was very nice. There was plenty of areas that you could just sit and enjoy the sounds of the ocean and the surroundings. The room was well stock with every thing you needed to cook and the size was good to. There is no air conditioning in the room so it was hot at times. It did have a ceiling fan it help some.

This place is really nice. The room was really nicely refurbished and the best part is the location. Its almost always 10 degrees cooler than Lahaina since its almost northern part of Maui near Kapalua. Days avg 85 degrees when its 94 in Lahaina. Theres also a small private beach open to all the Napili Resorts like Napili Point, Napili Surf and Napili Kai. The water there is really warm too and theres nice reef and lots of colorful fishes. Awesome place. Highly reccomended.

Nice hotel, clean room with full kitchen. New ownership in the main restaurant with new menu. Gazebo restaurant down by the ocean is highly rated for their breakfast/lunch menu. Definitely would return to this hotel.

We loved the tidepools and the perfect beach. The staff did much to make our stay pleasant, they even responded to special requests! A great place for the money we spent.

Beautiful grounds and ocean. The restaurant was closed so we could not go to dinner there or order room service. I do not smoke but my husband does. This was a non smoking property Well, how can the grounds not be beautiful in Hawaii? The other fancier hotels in Hawaii have designated smoking areas on the property. We also thought we were getting a 1 bedroom and it was an efficiency. They also issued 1 beach towel upon arrival and that had to be returned to the desk when leaving or a fine. We are in our fifties and felt insulted.

Before booking my trip to Maui, I relied heavily on the reviews from others on this site. We choose to stay at Napili Shores and it was great. Our room was perfect. We found out while we were there that each room is independantly owned so some of the amendities and furnishing are slightly different from room to room. We got lucky, because our room was upgraded with new amendities. The kitchens come equiped with all items needed, plates, cups, pans, ect.Staff was friendly and our room was extremely clean. The hotel has a small beach and is located a short drive from many other larger beaches. It was really a perfect choice and we were really happy with our decision to stay there.I would definitely stay there again.

This was the best vacation we have ever taken. The hotel was perfect, located on the bay with lots of sea turtles and fantastic snorkel diving. I would recommend the Outrigger on Napili Shores to anyone who wants a vacation to remember.

Nothing. It was very old and outdated. I am so disappointed, we didn't stay at the hotel, it was a dive.

It was clean and quiet, nice and low-key. Great kitchen area room. No negative comments at all. This was a nice place. Low key 2-story condo complex. Nice location, quiet and clean. Great snorkeling in walking distance.

"Had a wonderful stay. Perfect setting on Napali Bay. About 200' to beach. Rooms (at least ours) recently updated with granite countertops and more. Studio was smaller than others we have stayed at but adequate. Only drawback is that since there is no AC it can be a little noisy with the windows open, otherwise did not need AC with Ocean breezes and ceiling fans."

Awesome place with all the comforts of home. Close shopping, probably the BEST beach ever and snorkeling was amazing one beach away! Would highly recommend- staff was very accomodating for our every need...
