Nice motel, centrally located within easy walking distance of most of this neat and historic little town's features, clean and good-sized rooms, friendly and welcoming staff (esp. at the front desk), a very pleasant experience.

Very clean, new linens, fresh smell without fresheners. A very comfortable well located motel. I will most definitely stay again. Very affordable.

Stayed there July 2, 08. Wonderful room, great view, great value. Room was decorated with the right "touch." Room faced the main street..was able to sit and look at beautiful waterfall cascading down mountain side...shopping and restaurants close. I only wish I could have spent all summer there. DMoore

Very clean and quite hotel. Great location with on street parking for bigger vehicles. BED WAS VERY COMFORTABLE! The best nights sleep from a hotel in a very long time! Great Views from the balcony. Was here 25 years ago as a small child and Ouray and the Ouray Chalet still have that great small town charm and warm atmosphere. I WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Rented a jeep from Terrence (sp) across the street and went to three 4WD roads up in the San Juans. Pricy but incredible. Not for the faint of heart or nervous drivers.

Cozy room, great location in downtown and provided restaurant menus. This hotel exceeded my expectations. We stayed in the economy room, but it was very comfortable and did not feel like low-budget at all. The location was great, right in the middle of downtown Ouray, but it was surprisingly quiet. We would certainly stay here again.

Comfortable beds, on Main Street close to shops, friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again. Could hear neighbors above walking around and watching television.

This motel was in the middle of Ouray..we walked to every place.. The staff told us great places to eat.. It was not noisy and the room was very roomy.. If I went there again, I would try to stay there again...The room and bathroom seemed more like a bedroom and bath at home.. It even had a window in the bathroom...

We found this chalete to have spaceous, well appointed rooms and a very accomidateing management team. The location is outstanding for beauty and relaxation. There is not a lot of activity outside of sightseeing in the area. As part of A 30 day trip through the Rockies this motel was one of the bright spots.

The Ouray Chalet Inn was a nice little hotel in downtown Ouray, CO. The room was clean and comfortable. While it didn't have it's own pool or restaurant, the Chalet Inn provides guests with Ouray Hot Springs pool tickets for 50% off. There are plenty of dining options nearby in downtown Ouray. Great value for a smaller budget.

It has a neat charm about it that fits the area. No laundry facility, and you had to go in the office to get ice.

Rooms seemed to be updated with new TVs, furniture, etc. Great location in terms of access to shops. Outdoor Hot tub was nice and hot! We felt that the inside was nicer than the outside looked. Really helpful/friendly staff. Discount tickets for hotsprings and skiing available too!

The Ouray Chalet Inn is located in the center of downtown Ouray in a perfect location. We were within walking distance of all the quaint shops and excellent dining that Ouray offers. The scenery from the Inn was breathtaking. The room was large, very tastefully decorated and immaculate. The low nightly cost does not reflect the quality of the Ouray Chalet Inn.

It was very modern, very clean, spacious room. For the money, I was pleasantly surprised, would recommend to others. The outside ice machine had no ice, there was ice in the office, closed at 9:30 pm. Located on the main street through Ouray, walking distance from restaurants, shops, and pubs. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and modern design of the room, especially for the money, I expected less but got more. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, one of the staff resides on site and walked the grounds after dark, it felt safe.

We stayed at this property in May 2006. It is a great, quiet hotel for the money. The beds were comfortable and there was a little fridge. The bathroom area was seperated from the rest of the room. The best feature of the hotel is the owners. They were very friendly and very knowledgable about the area. They were very helpful when the entire family got food poisoning from eating undercooked chicken at a local restaurant (The Silver Dollar).

Pleasant, centrally located, very clean. We were very pleased with the hotel. It is very basic yet comfortable. It is located on the main street of town.

Location! The center of Ouray. It is dated, but clean and functionally maintained. Great place to stay for location and friendly staff. The Ouray Chalet is dated, ala 1960's, but clean and well maintained. It met my expectations completely.

It was within walking distance of the entire town. Very quiet. We arrived early for check in and they refused to allow us to use the restroom saying they had no public restrooms. This was a quaint friendly hotel. It was clean and within walking distance of the entire town.

Clean and friendly and fun to be in town. No hot tub.
