Staying at the Ottoman Hotel Imperial was an excellent choice. All staff was friendly, helpful and courteous at all times. Elif (Guest Relations) provided me with all the information I needed and gave me advice. Ozgur looked out for me when I wasn't feeling well. Anil, Ugur, Iskender, and Erhan (sorry if I misspelled names) are just awesome people. They always made me feel welcomed in their country :) My room was always clean and had everything I needed when requested. It was a little too small and reminded me of a stylish college dorm; however, I was traveling by myself and spent most of the time outside so it was not a big deal. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel's location was one of the best things of my trip. Most historical sites, banks, post office, stores, restaurants, etc. are around the corner. Based on a great experience, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there when I visit Istanbul again.

Ideal location in Sultanahmet - surrounded by main sites and could hear call to prayer, which made it feel like an authentic stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good range on buffet for breakfast. I imagine the roof terrace in the summer is lovely but too cold to use in November. Overall I would recommend staying here.

The Ottoman Hotel has an excellent location, and the staff could not be more friendly. It is quite small in palaces, including the rooms, which do not have a lot of walking room around the bed. Saying that the rooms are very comfortable, and you could not have better views of the Aya Sofia. The breakfast is passable, but not that special. I would book here again if staying in this area of Istanbul.

The food offered in the hotel restaurant is of poor quality, particularly when compared to the overall standard of the hotel.

This is a good hotel to be in the centre of the touristy places and saves time and money by being so close to it all.The rooms are very small indeed.Staff good and helpful.Small hotel for mostly older tourists so quiet, no pool or gym or anything like that.

The hotel is very conveniently located in close walking distance to key historical sites in the ancient city - Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque and Haghia Sophia. Our room was fairly small, but the hotel was quiet and breakfast was great.

We booked for a standard room and checked at around 10 pm,we were surprised to be moved to an other hotel. We then tried to make sure that we would be back in the Ottoman Hotel for the following night ,we were upgraded to a premium room. It was'nt easy to pack and unpack.

A beautiful, well run and well located hotel. We had a lovely stay. They were very accommodating, picking each of us up at the airport at different times for a small fee. The rooms are nicely furnished, comfortable but a bit small--although very adequate. And they had C-span in English for us news junkies! I highly recommend this delightful hotel.
