The main reason I chose The Inn At Otter Crest was for it's remote location. Even though it is close to other popular tourist attractions it is isolated from the coastal crowds and traffic. The combination of old growth trees and the panoramic view of the ocean makes the setting ooze with relaction. It is one of the most peasefull locations I have found on the Oregon coast.

The Otter Crest has beautiful grounds and wonderful views. You really need a car to stay here as there is not much within walking distance. The resort would not be good for a person who has trouble with stairs or walking. The room was very nice with a view of the sea.

The Inn at Otter Crest resort has an ideal location on the beautiful coast of Central Oregon, not located in a town but sufficiently close for convenience. The pool was great for both the children to play and the adults to swim laps without children present. The stairs to the beach led to wonderful tidal pools with starfish, sea anemones, sea urchins, etc. and sea lions/seals on the rocks. It was also a short walk to the Devil's Punchbowl, a very interesting State Park site. This same walk also took us to Mo's restaurant for excellent clam chowder and oyster stew.

The Otter Crest was very comfortable, the room seemed much larger than most with a desk area and a table and two chairs. I liked the fact that the bathroom was separate from the vanity area and there was a sink with a long counter and there was adequate space for hanging clothes. The rooms have private decks for relaxing and taking in the awesome view of the ocean.

The Inn at Otter Crest was a beautiful place to stay. The grounds are immaculate and the view from the room balcony is stunning. The location was close to town and golf courses, but remote enough to be romantic.

The Inn at Otter Crest was very clean and comfortable. The location is absolutely breathtaking. We were greeted by friendly staff and provided with a small shuttle service to move our luggage from our car to our room. I'm already planning my next (longer) stay. It is very family friendly and close to many local attractions. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

The only thing good about this hotel was the location. They are right on the coast. There are steps down to the beach. The rocky tidepools were really neat. However, we had a room which had a DIRTY blanket. We discovered it at bedtime, and pulled the blanket off right away. It was difficult to sleep wondering if the sheets were clean enough. Also, there was only 1/2 a roll of toilet paper left in the room with no extra roll. The towels were very thin & not of good quality. Both the dresser & the bedside stand were very worn. The vertical blinds didn't close properly, so there wasn't much privacy. There was no air conditioning or portable fan available. The entry way carpeting was very stained. I asked for extra soap at the front desk and was told I would have to wait while they paged housekeeping. You have to park your car away from the hotel rooms and be driven to your room by a hotel employee in a golf cart. (tip) I could have handled everything except the DIRTY BLANKET! Yuck. I would NOT recommend this hotel.

At the Oregon coast, the weather is ever changing. Sunshine is always good, but at the Inn At Otter Crest what's nice is the good view, rain or shine. Our room was very comfortable. The staff was pleasant, especially the young man who delivered us and our luggage to our room via golf cart. Only one negative, which was our meal at the adjoining Flying Dutchman restaurant. The meal was pricey, and not worth what we paid, as everything was either way too salty, too vinegary, or undercooked (the meat). The spectacular sunset helped the overall dining experience, but I wouldn't really reccomend it just for that. Other than the meal, it was a good experience for us. Very comfortable beds, high quality soaps and shampoos, and a good shower.

I love the Inn at Otter Crest...it is an older establishment but everything is always very clean and the views are spectacular. The quiet paths between the buildings are very nice and the beach is private and quiet. The beds are not very comfortable but it is so worth the money.
