Description:

| The place was more beautiful in real life than in the photos on the site. It was a pleasant surprise and actually much more local than we anticipated. It was definately one of the cooler hotels on the island. One of the best breakfast ive ever had in a hotel. My only complaint was the woman on reception who was at the best of times a bit off and really rude when they made a mistake in our booking. We booked a double room (there was no option to select dbl bed or twin - but on all sites it usually says double or twin anyway) and they said they didnt have dbl rms available in the hotel despite our booking 2 mths before! And so we had to go in a twin room for one night! For 250EUR p/n we were not happy! She blamed us saying we had not specified dbl bed or twin but actually we discovered they had actually made the mistake and overbooked as they had to put us in the hotel next door! It was only one night and the hotel next door was beautiful anyway but it was the attitude of the reception lady that upset me the most. We were moved back the next day so in the end we got to enjoy both places. It was a beautiful place to stay just a shame about the rude reception lady. I was pleasant the whole time considering and didnt need to be spoken to rudely for something that wasnt even our fault! But i'd definately recommend it as well as the andronikos next door! Just avoid the reception lady! |

| Ostraco Suites is conveniently located. It was about a 15 minute walk to town and 20-30 minute walk back (uphill). Walking is the best way to go during high season. We rented a car and quickly parked it becase the driving is insane during high season. If you decide you want transportation - get a moped. In the town it is impossible to drive and they block the road at night. The hotel staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Stella is always smiling and goes out of her way to make you feel at home. She lets you know that anything you want is possible. When we arrived we were given a choice of two rooms. We had a few issues with the air-conditioining. They were quick to send someone when we called abot it. Unfortuantely they were between chefs at the time we were there but they provided a take out delivery service for lunch. Breakfast was provided and was very nice. The pool is lovely and the pool chairs were very comfortable. In all, we enjoyed our stay there and I feel comfortable recommending it to others. |

| + Great hotel, very nice located on a hill with a special view over the bay of Myconos. 10 Minutes by foot to the center of Myconos. Very friendly staff, familiar atmosphere. Would book it again. - The guy at the reception didn't told us that they close the reception during the night. When we came back (1:30 am) the reception was closed an the room key inside. Should be better organized. |

| Beautiful Hotel, Wonderful Breakfast. Had a problem with the room we stayed in. Recently remodeled room, floor was not "Floated" properly so all the water that comes from the open shower does not drain properly leaving the floors wet and very, very slippery. I slipped on the floor and split my elbow open requiring several stitches. Ouch!!Put a damper on the rest of my vacation. The only thing the Ostraco Hotel said was "So Sorry and would talk to the owner and tell him what happened". Have heard nothing back from them regarding this. |

| Ostraco Suites is the best hotel we have EVER stayed at. We were expecting a beautiful location and good service, but what we received was one of the most magical experience of our entire trip. We went to Mykonos as part of our honeymoon, and we wished we had stayed with Ostraco the whole time. The property is beautiful, and everybody is so friendly that they treat you like close family. Irregardless of money, you will not get treated better or find a hotel with more style and personal touch. If you happen to read a bad review of Ostraco, I cannot imagine why! The rooms are georgous, the pool is captivating, the breakfast is wonderful, and you will never have a bar experience like you will at Ostraco. If you going to Mykonos and you don't stay at Ostraco, I would be disappointed. We would love to make the trip back from Minnesota, just to stay there again. Thank you Fotis, Catherine, Marina, and Constatine for the best time we had on our honeymoon. We wish we had had more time together, and can't wait to come back! |
