This is an ideal base for London Heathrow, London, Windsor, Legoland and Kew Gardens. It is highly recommended. (1008AB) The hotel is made up of two parts, the older main building and the more recently added annex. There is also a sizeable conservatory, a great place for drinks in the evening and a much cooler place to relax when the weather is good. This excellent value, privately owned hotel is situated on the Great West Road, just a short taxi ride from London Heathrow. It's 1/4 mile from Osterley Underground station (Piccadilly line). By car from the west take M4 to junction 3, third exit at roundabout to the A4, then at roundabout take the left exit (1st) and stay on the A4, pass the Underground station on the left, the hotel is on the left after the second set of traffic lights.From London, take the M4 junction 2, follow A4 west towards Heathrow to after the crossroads (Gillette Corner); the hotel is on the right at the next set of traffic lights.

There are a number of options for food at the hotel. They have a locally renowned Indian restaurant and also an Italian restaurant. There is a public house on site which serves typical British pub food and a selection of ales, wines and spirits, with live entertainment available most Friday/Saturday evenings.

Terrible, awful stay at the Osterley Park Hotel - don't go even if you are desperate. The hotel is not at all what it appears on the website, it looks nice on website when it isn't. The rooms lead directly onto an outside walkway (like a motel in the US) and both our bathroom and bedroom windows were broken so being 2 females we didn't feel secure at all. We put chairs against the doors which made us feel a bit safer but I didn't sleep much that night.I would take it off the late rooms website if I was you!!

I chose the Osterley Park Hotel because it was described as being just a "short taxi ride" from London Heathrow. In reality, it is a half-hour ride. It is in a nice residential and quiet neighborhood, and the hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious and overall comfortable with some extra touches, but not overly clean. The hallways and lobby area are shabby. There is no elevator and no help was offered to take my bags up to the room.

This was a very nice Hotel very close to Heathrow Airport, only 5 stops on the Tube. Great Indian Restaurant at the Hotel and also pub style meals next door. Great location for flights in and out of Heathrow. Staff all very friendly. Would stay there again.

Not the Ritz, but pleasant and friendly and good valueSome people will hate this place because it is tired and a little grubby, and focussed on running large receptions and events. The rooms are old fashioned and very worn, though comfortable enough. The outside space is also messy with laundry etc lurking in racks.All this is easily overcome for me by two things: first of all the value is exceptional (certainly booking via Laterooms). Secondly, the reception and housekeeping staff are exceptional - nothing is a problem, and there is always a smile in evidence. All this makes for a very relaxing stay, and I find I go back there and do not regret it.Not for everyone, but fine for me.

The Osterley Park is ideally located close to Heathrow airport and to public transport systems to central London. However the reception and communal areas are in need of serious attention, both from a cleaning and modernisation perspective. The actual room was ok, it was clean as was the ensuite bathroom, there were warnings of "very hot water" over the sink and in the shower, both necessary since it seemed there was only hot water available even from the cold tap! The breakfast was adequate just avoid the tea and coffee, both are terrible and again the table cloths need replacing, they were laundered but grubby presumbly from length of use.

Good qulaity budget accommodation, close to a tube station. Would recommend for a cheap stay ...We stayed at the Osterley on Saturday night. I booked this during the week of our arrival and this was one of the few that were available.The accommodation was of an average quality and cleanliness, although the room size was more like an appartment and that was good.Room prices at the hotel were showing rates of £100+ (which made me smile at the thought of only paying £58.00). Parking was free (I usually pay £20.00+ alone for parking in Hammersmith for 24 hours), so this was a huge bonus.Tube station was close by, easy to find and well situated on the network.OVERALL: If you're looking for a cheap, no frills stay in London, this is it. At the end of the day, it's just a place to sleep. Would recommend and stay here again, as the cost and location is really good. If you choose this place, it won't have frills, but the savings will allow you more money to spend in London (which is, afterall, why you're there). Recommended.

A place to rest my headThe hotel was very accommodating considering I'd booked that afternoon and was not checking in until 8:00pm. All I was looking for was a place to rest my head after working late and needing to get back to the office early the next morning - and that was what I got.The room was basic but clean and although booking a single room, I was given a double, which was a nice bonus. There were tea-making facilities and a TV (which needed a Heath Robinson repair to the aerial cable.En-suite was fine and the bed was comfortable, so as a quick overnight stay it served its purpose and was reasonable value for money.The overall impression of the room was akin to a student halls of residence in the mid-1990s

A hotel I will be glad never to visit againWhile the room was clean and bed was comfortable the hotel was closer to the Bates Motel than Holiday Inn. If I had not arrived lated I would have moved to another hotel. I wedged a chair under the handle of the room door and did not sleep well. In fairness my imagination made this hotel seem worse than it was but the colleague I met the next day agreed with me on my discomfort.I will not stay again!!!!

Overrated accomodationIts definately not a 3* hotel. As I travel a lot in business I stay at different hotels and this was one of the worst. The room was very dated, cerpets definately need replacing (on the website it says it has been recently refurbished to a very high standard), I dont know what standards they mean and it probably was refurbished ages ago, surely not recently. Horrible experience. The room was very noisy as on Great West Road, first night I couldnt sleep at all as was concerned about security (you enter the room from outside) and secondly the noise! The only good thing about it was the service, guys at the reception very friendly and helpful. But I would not stay there again.

Wouldn't go againWould definatly not reccomend this hotel.Advertised with pub & restaurant. Restaurant was Indian, which I don't like and was not stated anywhere while booking. Food at the pub was nice, although there was no change behind the bar at the till, exact money was needed to purchase anything & they ran out of wine. The atmosphere in the pub was not nice, didn't stay for very long as felt quite uncomfortable.

Shower did not function at all properly. Breakfast was average but quite expensive for what we had. One of my colleagues had an apple, yoghurt and a drink of orange but we were still charge for the full continental breakfast at £5.50.

The poorest quality hotel I've had the displeasure of staying in.Just don't go here! It feels more like walking into a working mens club than a hotel. Facilities are old and dated. The only hotel in London that I've felt safer taking and leaving my laptop in the car in London rather than leaving it in my hotel room.
