The hotel is across the street from the beach and located on a busy street. Expect traffic delays during prime hours. The hotel itself was nice and updated. This is more of a condo type place to stay...room cleaning costs extra. We had fun and this hotel was great for the money. The king size bed was very comfortable as was the pillows. The pull out mattress not so much. The pool was kinda small for the amount of people who stay here. They did have a mini theater and played family movies which was a great idea. It did take awhile to catch an elevator though. Overall it was a good comfortable affordable place to stay.

The staff handle check in quick and easy, rooms were nice, clean and comfortable elevators do run slow. If your stay is three days or longer the staff will not clean your room everyday only every third day it is stated in the book in the hotel rooms. Try time your activities at odd times from the normal rush hours. Will stay again and recommend others to stay as well.

across the street from the beach, nice pool.we stayed in a one bedroom studio, found it too small and kitchen also very small.

This place was fabulous. I was skeptical at first since the price was low and there were no other reviews. It was not a hotel room, but a condo! It was wonderful. We had great views down the beach. The pool was beautiful too, but we were only there for one night and we didn't have time to use it. I can't wait to go back! travel website had the best price - I compared it to others!

Hotel gave room away.We had reservations with confirmation numbers. No management on site at check-in. Clerks no help other than saying sorry NO ROOMIE!! Clerks should be able to speak and understand English.Clerks words: I will see if I can find a room on someone else's reservation for you and let management deal with it.This would have only compounded the problem with this hotel. Probably what happened to our reservation. SUGGESTION Fire everyone and Start over This time pay for proper help

The hotel was lovely and the rooms are spaceous. Housekeeping does a very good job of keeping the room in really good condition. Lovely and close to the beach but quite a walk if you wanted to get to any of the restaurants down town. Also a lot of the local bars and restaurants on the route to town seem to have closed down. The front desk staff upon check in were very friendly. There is no tea or coffee provided in the room and when I went to front desk at about 2330 to ask where I could get some, the girl snarled "you have to get it your self". I asked if i could buy some in the hotel and was told "no". I would not have minded if she had said it nicely but she made me feel like a scrounger. I've stayed in a lot of hotels all over the world and I just thought that it was strange to not be able to even get a coffee. Aside from that if you can get a good rate at this hotel then I would go for it.

the outside of the hotel is very attractive. parking to check is alittle tricky and not all the staff speaks good english so be very careful what you say and make sure they understand you. the rooms are comfortable and roomy but the room we stayed in did not have a tub in the bathroom only a shower. the view- be very careful !! the back of this hotel has a terrible view of a swamp and mobile home park. the balcony is a waste when it comes to rooms on the back.

That was my first time at Panama City Florida I enjoyed my stay there. The location was good and the hotel was clean and very nice. What I really liked was the movie on the beach that they had one of the nights that we were there. the resturant Sharky's and the american cafe they were great places to go to and they were right there we enjoy sharky's and the breakfast at the cafe was great. overall we had a great time and was very pleased with the hotel and will recommend it to other.

Me and my boyfriend went for four days and took my two boys ages 5 and 6 and his son age 4. I would recommend this hotel to anyone the rooms are very nice and clean, view is amazing, very friendly staff. I asked for more towels and linens and received them. Only issue i had was that i had a coffee pot and no coffee. That is not much to complain about, no problem store down the road.

motel was clean, only issue was the traffic, you had to cross the street to get to the beach, and traffic was very busy some of the time.

Traveled w/ spouse and 19 yr old daughter. If you don't mind heights, rooms ending in 02 and 04 offer some of the best views. The higher the floor the better! When traveling on Front Beach Road don't take the scenic view. It takes longer and the traffic is heavier. Visit Pier Park for entertainment. Most restaurants there offer live music nightly. Parking is tight in the hotel garage-1st come 1st served! On the last night I had to circle the garage 3x before getting a spot!

All in all, I'd rate our experience an 7.5 out of 10. We got a GREAT room for the price! We had an outstanding view. We could see the Gulf and Pier Park from our room. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. We did NOT have a pleasant experience with the front desk staff. After I went back to the desk for the third time, I was finally able to check in. I was blantatly lied to about the status of our room by one gentleman. After first checking in, I didn't have to deal with them again... and the ones I dealt with when I checked out were very nice and polite. The Parking was HORRIBLE at times. The columns that hold the parking deck up are placed right on the parking lines at the entrance of the parking spots, making about a quarter of the spots impossible for anything but a small car to park in. People just parked at random places and more than once blocked us in. My wife had to get out and help direct me getting out of the spot and turned what should have been a simple back out into a 25 point turn. The Elevators were SLOW! Seriously SLOOOOOOOOOOW! I am not kidding when I say the elevators are slow!! All in all... We loved our stay there and will stay there again! We loved the location, the view, the beds were super comfortable and most of all the price! Be prepared for a bump or two, but don't let that stop you from staying!

I was very pleased with Origin at Seahaven. My room was a little too close to the elevator which was probably more noisy than usual since it was 4th of July weekend. Sometimes, slight wait for elevators, but stairs is fine if you choose not to wait. The room was excellent and in great condition. Location was great right across from beach and good restaurant.I would stay again and would recommend to anyone.

Seventh time staying there in 6 months. It is a great spot with nice big rooms. Last couple of stays the rooms have had broken shelves and broken chairs. I think Spring Break hurt them, and they haven't caught up to it all. Pool is great!

This was another great stay at Origin. It is in a great location and is a great value. Parking is tricky in the garage and the elevators can be slow at times but make sure you use the ones on the wings as well as the ones in the middle. We had a private viewing in the Bamboo Room on the projection screen...its like having your own movie theater. The beach was great and the pool is fantastic. The staff was very helpful with all our requests. Of course we will be back.

This is a great place. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and well decorated. Our room was very clean, and even though this property is located across from the beach, the view doesn't get any better! We had a room that overlooked the pool, the ocean, AND the nightlife. A great little restaurant/bar is located directly across the street and kids get to eat for free. They have a beach party (luau) every Tuesday, and you can actually watch all the happenings while hanging out in the jacuzzi. It's a 2 minute walk to the beach, and there's a nice walkway. Our room even had a washer and dryer which was great for those wet towels at the end of the day. I visited with my 11 year old son, and we even decided to extend our visit because it felt so much like home. I would DEFINITELY stay at the place again---great value for the money and extremely nice accomodations. Front desk people were nice. The only drawback I had was that the elevators were slow, but understandably so since the place has 14 floors. You really can't go wrong booking your vacation here.

Nice place. Not as impeccable as a Wyndham, Marriott or Omni. For the price 1bd was spacious. Cleanliness 8/10. Nice appliances. Remember you're giving up daily housekeeping!! Throw out your own trash, swap your own towels. Across the street from beach.
