Hotel Opera, Prague - June 2009The hotel is fairly centrally located in Prague and the rooms, whilst basic, are comfortable and clean. Although the hotel is located adjacent to an overpass the room was quiet. The bathroom was a good size, however, the towels were thin and unappealing. The bed was clean and comfortable and the mini-bar well stocked. There was no iron or ironing board available within the room and to ge a shirt and trousers ironed was a bit of a "kerfuffle", although once arranged the service was very good. The staff were very helpful and arranged taxis and other services without and problems.

Nice clean hotel close to old town. I used subway to get around and it was easy to use. Hotel was clean and I had a good sized single room with nice bathroom with shower. Breakfast was only fair- no fresh juices and hot food was not enticing! Hotel staff were fine but had some trouble trying to get a shirt ironed. Overall its overrated as 4 star but was reasonably priced. Would stay there again.
