Overall stay was OK but the problem is from 5:00am to 6:30am it is extremly noisy in the street as the casino next door close. People in the street, leaving loud. Hotel say, can not do anything about it.

Quality of the fairly recent looking upgrade work in the double room and bathroom/toilet areas was to a poor standard and felt unfinished. Bed was comfortable enough though. Nothing really of any note to inspire a wish to return.

Very Kind welcome, they speak english. Rooms were exactly as the picture; clean, very nice and big enough. The room was non-smoking, but we had 2 big windows, so we smoked there without problem.The price was exactly as the webpage said. The next metro(tube) is just 2 min walking(Pigalle stop)and it works very well. Moreover a taxi from L'opera to the hotel is around 6 euros and 10 euros from Quartier Latin, so you can go out wherever you want and come back to the hotel although the tube is close. Surrondings were special, full of sexhops and lapdancing clubs!but it was funny. The place is not recommended for families with children. Also there are lots of restaurants close to the hotel. I will recommend this hotel for couples, singles, young people, group of friends and even gay couples. The price is litle high than others places, but I'm so happy with the service, room, location and quality. The only bad point was that some refurbishment were being done, so it was litle noisy during the working hours. The staff told me that they will finish the works in few days..Just ask before you go, but they should finish that at the end of May 2008.

The hotel was in the middle of refurbishment during our stay. The work was only carried out at sensible times, and we did not get any noise or disturbance from this at all. The room we had, although a little small, had just been finished and was done to a very good standard, with all new furnishings, carpets, curtains etc. The public halls and landings were not yet finished, so were not up to standard. The hotel is right in the middle of the red light district, with brothels and sex shops all around, although this did not bother us at all - in fact it meant that there were a large number of resteraunts and bars very close by, I would not recommend this hotel to families or those who would be offended by this. There is a metro station within 3 minutes walk giving good links to all of the paris metro network and attractions. To walk into the city centre is around 25 minutes.
