Good value, well-locatedWe went for an apartment - looking for a bit of extra space. The apartment was a bit like a student flat - not that clean (although OK) and very basic. However, I can't fault it on price or location. I'm glad we stayed here rather than a hotel (family rooms are difficult to find) and we had a great holiday. If you're looking for luxury go elsewhere, but if you want adequate acommodation in the centre of town then this could be for you.The key-holder picked us up at the airport when we arrived, and dropped us off at the end of our holiday, and that was really useful. No lugging suitcases around, and, again, the price was reasonable. We also got a late check out - our flight left around 9pm so we were able to enjoy the whole day without worrying about storing bags. It's worth noting that you have to pay up-front in Euros - they don't accept the local currency and they don't take credit or debit cards.

Great location, friendly service and excellent value for moneyWe were very pleased with this accommodation. It was supposed to be double but there was a double bed, 2 single beds and a fold-out double sofa bed so more than enough room for 2 friends sharing, and we could have seperate beds! It is in a brilliant location just opposite the Opera and walkable to many of the sites including the Basilica, Parliament and baths. The service we got from the owners, though we never met them, was very attentive and friendly, and the lift we got from the airport oragnised through them meant we got a personal tour of the city and tips for visitors on arriving! It was very quiet at night too so good sleep was had by all. Lovely high ceilings and a lovely building. The kitchen had a fridge, cooking equipment and 2 electric hobs. There was no oven but we didn't need this as we ate out every night anyway. There was a washing machine also which would be handy for longer stays. All towels and sheets provided. The TV didn't work very well, but that's not necessary either. All in all we were very pleased and would definitely stay there again if we went back to Budapest!

The pick up and drop off (booked through the owner) was very helpful and at a reasonable cost. The accomodation was basic, but clean. The third bed was uncomfortable, mainly as it was placed on a base that was too small. The mattress was fine though and was more comfortable when placed on the floor.Since the owner has a number of flats, it would be helpful if these could be advertised separately so there is no confusion over the pictures and people are clear about what they are getting. At the moment, the pictures are a mixture of the different accomodations that the owner has.

The apartment was in a charming classical building, and in a great location right by the Opera House. It was fairly spacious, but a bit neglected, and the furniture and fitments were cheap. Still, it was good value and quite adequate for a week's stay. But if I use David and Edgar's services again, I will go for one of their modern apartments, even if the location is less ideal.

We stayed three nights at one of the opera apartments (Klauzal apartment.) The apartment itself was large, clean and safe. The apartment we were given was a couple of blocks away from the opera house. Although it was not anything like the apartment shown on the website it was an ideal place to stay to be near the centre of Budapest. Mr Edgar (the co-owner) picked us up from the airport for 25 euros, this was useful after a long journey; however we got the train back from nyugati station and this was far cheaper costing only around 4 euros. Mr Edgar was very friendly and helpful and altogether the accomodation was perfect for us. It was basic but a comfortable place to stay. Towels were provided, cups, bowls, plates and a fridge etc were provided also. Although there was no oven there was a hob and this was perfect if you didn't fancy going out for a meal. The bathroom was large and clean and the shower was great!! The apartment is right by blaha lujza tram and underground service and therefore to get around Budapest the apartment was ideal. I think the apartment would suit anyone of any age as long as you're not looking for a 5* hotel, it is EXCELLENT value for money!

The appartments are ideally located for all the main attractions in Budapest. Evrything was within walking distance. Really close to good bars and restaurants, with St Stephens Basillica on your doorstep. The appartment was clean and tidy. Kitchen was basic but we didnt do any cooking as we were on holiday. The shower was a bit tempremental!!! Going from scorching hot to freezing cold without warning. It was a fine art to get it to stay at a constant temp. If you want a cup of tea/coffee take your own mugs as there were none and we had to go and buy some. The appartment was also secure. We used Zona Taxi to get to and from the airport to the appartment and it cost 19 euro from the airport and 14 euro back. Also Yellow Zebera bike hire is just around the corner and I would definatly recomend hiring bikes if you are going to walk along way! Would definatly stay here again.

Be careful. The owner owns several apartments in Budapest. We thought, by photos, we were going to stay in a beautiful studio in a lovely renovated older building just steps from the opera and metro but instead got a "good" studio in a nondescript contemporary building about 3 blocks from the metro. Still, it was a good location, good value for price, modern, adequate space, quiet and generally clean -- but no toilet paper/we had to buy our own. Just not as implied by photos and followup. Don't reccomend driving tour via local apartment manager, but arrange with professionals. Will stay again but require confirmation of which apartment/location.

Peeps. Amazing. Seriously. You all blatantly know that photo's can be deceiving but this was quite the oposite. The photo's looked cool but the apartment was far better than shown. Very clean, very spacious and open but still very private. We had our own balcony which we had breakfast on every morning as the weather was wicked. The bed was extremely comfortable. The Bathroom is perfect. Good shower. The kitchen is very good but lacked an oven so you couldn't cook anything but saying that you don't come on holiday to cook!! Everything is very new and the building is very secure! Really impressed... Edgar, the man with the plan will look after you too!!! All in all... very pleased. Oh and the value for money is way up there with Hungarian food!!!
