We noticed that this hotel has alot of history featured before arriving but being there really put it all into perspective. This is the most genuine historic exeperience of American history that we can not only learn but feel and touch first hand. What a gem for America and Boston that is preserved for generations. We had all the comforts of a luxury hotel but a real deal with the best location to see what Boston has to offer. We especially liked the Breakfast,Concerige Services,Beds to die for and how could we forget the Boston Creme Pie for desert which the hotel actually invented. We enjoyed our trip to Boston and found that the Omni provided the best value and personal experience that we can remember for quite some time. We will stay again as there is so much in Boston to see. Planning to return to see the Red sox as the hotel has a package with tickets and we look foward to seeing more.

The Boston Parker Omni was the best location we could have had on our first trip to Boston. WE are already talking of going back, taking our children with families and definately staying at the Omni. It was ON THE FREEDOM TRAIL, 1/2 block from boston common, 1/2 block from downtoin crossing. , less than a block from subway, a few short blocks to Quincy market and Fanuil hall. We had so much fun and the staff helped navigate us anywhere we were going. WE arrived earlier than check in, they stored our bags and when we came back to leave our jackets in a half hour our room was ready. They were very accomodating. The front desk was professional and courteous every time we called. They delivered 2 drinks free every morning because we signed up for their special status. IT was all bran new, bedding, carpet, newly remodeled Plush beds. great stay

This was our first trip to Boston, so the location of the hotel was perfect -- walking distance to almost everything. We saw all the main attractions and went to some wonderful restaurants. The staff was terrific, especially the concierge, [...]. The food in the restuarant was great, and we also really enjoyed the bar -- great fun.Our only complaint would be that the room was very small, esecially the bathroom.

Location. Rooms absolutely sucked. I rate this hotel a 1 on a scale of 1-10. It is old and antiquated, not preserved well, closet like rooms with bathrooms that are crammed for even one person, full size beds rather than even a queen, noisy environment and excessive room noise. Terrible experience and even worse on the value scale.

I stayed at the Omni Parker House hotel for three nights, and it was a fabulous experience. The front desk, concierge, and bellman staff were top notch. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located a couple of blocks from T stops, shopping and great restaurants. Very convenient location. The room was clean and comfortable. Everything about my stay was fantastic.

First room looked like someone just got out of the bed. Half empty glass on night stand and dark curly hairs on pillow and tousled sheets. Creepy. Next room very small, but better. They charged extra 10/day to use Internet without my approval. They would not refund. Crooked garage around the block lied about the charges. We stayed Sunday morning to Tuesday morning. We were told Sunday was 10 then 12 for every 12 hours. 2 day bill was 96 and no one could produce itemized bill or explain how they came up with that number. I would not pay more than 200 for this hotel, especially since it's still being renovated.

Great location to sites and the T. Superb staff, food, and service in hotel and housekeeping. We were assigned a very tiny room/bathroom due to the discount rate. A bit noisy from road maintenance on some days and no "view"/office windows right across so needed to keep our blind most of the time when in room closed for privacy. Luckily, we weren't in the room much - out seeing the sites! Dining a bit pricey in hotel, but that's expected - other options for quick breakfasts etc. within walking distance.

Room was nicely decorated, great bed, TV, and towels. Small bathroom, $6 bottle of water in room. Stayed here for a convention at the Convention Center. Good location, nicely appointed. I did not use any of the bars or restaurant. My room had a double bed which was fine for business travel but if I was with someone, I would make sure to get a room with a larger bed. The bathroom was small (pedestal sink) but nicely done. The TV has been upgraded to an LCD but high definition is not provided. Overall, I would return.

The location of this hotel is extremely convienent for downtown boston. The rooms were much smaller than I expected. We are a family of 4 and the room was very cramped for all of us. We had a lot of trouble using the hotel internet from the lobby. The hotel promised a rolling suitcase with games and puzzles for the kids but they could never produce it when we asked. My children are ages 10 and 7 so it wasn't such a big deal but if you stay here with kids, ask a lot of questions first.

We had a wonderful experience here! Everyone was so friendly and helpful from the moment we pulled up to the curb! The valet and bell hops were extremely friendly and the front desk staff was warm and welcoming. I just can't say enough good things about our experience at this hotel! We ate in the restaurant the first evening and the food and service were great. We would come back in a heart beat... what a great location, too!

The location could not be any better. Just bring your walking shoes and experience everything Boston has to offer. The hotel was better than expected. The building is beautiful and has so much character. Incredible woodcrafting made this hotel as much of a tour stop as the rest of the city.

Location. Tiny room. Somewhat renovated but clearly dated amenities. Ventilation fan in bathroom did not function and the staff treated me as if I was a second class guest.

Found lighting too dim,(50 watt bulbs), to read comfortably in bed. Request for stronger replacement bulbs promptly and courteously attended to as was request to change rooms when first room we were shown was too cramped to please us. Old-fashioned service with modern plumbing. Can't be beat. Would return again with pleasure.

I was there to visit my step-daughter who is going to BU. We had dinner in the more formal restaurant in the hotel and she said it was the best filet mignon she has ever had...and let me tell you she has had many! The hotel service was great! Centrally located and only 1 1/2 blocks from the "T" (metro tranportation)

Beautiful old world hotel, complete with extremely friendly and helpful staff; however, showing its age. While our room was lovely, the curtains were dusty and would not close so that we could block out the light. Frankly, they could have used a good cleaning. The beds were nicely made up, but the bed skirt on our bed was completely stained with spilled coffee. The carpet was stained too, and was torn up. Our air/heating unit was on the fritz. My sister-in-law's room had a trick toilet that kept overflowing. We had a full length mirror, but she did not. This is not an inexpensive hotel, and I feel that it should be better maintained, given the cost.
