The staff was very accommodating and the location was good. The bed was extremely comfortable. No airport shuttle and doors shut hard and loudly. This was a great place to stay. We walked all around downtown St. Louis and had shuttles to nearby attractions when requested. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and generally quiet.

My fiance and I were impressed with the simple beauty of this hotel. The Staff in the lobby was very nice and down to earth. There was no wait for check-in, they already had everything ready before we arrived, keys made and all. Our king bedroom was larger than I imagined. There was ample space for everything. The only thing I found I didn't like was the bathroom was small. The toilet and tub were separate from the vanity and sink. The toilet was so close to the wall and the toilet paper holder was right next to toilet, there was barely enough space to fit on the potty. The bed was so amazingly comfy, words cannot describe. parking was the cheapest I have ever paid to stay downtown. We walked to Laclede's Landing and wandered around the streets looking at the beautiful buildings. We were close to many restaurants and activities.

This is a restored older building and the rooms - especially the bathrooms - can be small. Breakfast is a treat. The staff is first rate! The dining room and bar are lovely and comfortable.

My most recent stay was my third at this hotel. Each time has been better than the last. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The rooms are comfortable. The introduction of the continental breakfast -- new since my earlier trips -- is most welcome. And you don't just get a stale bagel and lousy coffee. This is a real "meal." The fitness room, while small -- and this is an older downtown hotel (although it's been updated) -- is clean and more than adequate. The location of the Omni is another great feature. Yes, I plan on stopping there again.

I thought the location was great, the building nice enough, and the price good, but they stuck us in a smoking room when we had a non-smoking room reserved. The staff seemed nice, but they didn't tell me it was a smoking room until the second they gave me the room key (and my room was prepaid through Orbitz). The reason was that the rest of the hotel was full and that was all they had. They said that the floor (the 9th) had only recently been made a smoking floor, but to a non-smoker that doesn't matter. It stunk, and we had the window open for the entire two days. I would have appreciated some sympathy, more of an apology, a discount, or at least a free drink at the bar. I'm going to take up the issue with Orbitz, but I bet it's too late to do anything but write this unfavorable review. This is unfortunate, because the location is good, and it's a nice small-ish, old hotel. It's a nice change from the super large hotels, but with more character than most little hotels or motels. The room was nice (except the smoke), with a nice soft bed, lots of pillows, a sofa, and nice enough bathroom. The other downside was the bar/restaurant. I kind of wondered if they wanted to maintain some kind of character, but it just looked dingy. I love hotel bars usually, especially classy old ones, but we walked into this one, thought it looked sketchy, and turned around and went for dinner and drinks elsewhere. Again, it's too bad, because it should have some potential.

The room was good sized. The breakfast was bot good at all. If you stay at this hotel, do not waste your money on their continental breakfast for $9.00 a person, you would do better walking a couple of blocks and eating and get a good meal for less. Our pillows had lipstick all over it.

I would not recommend this hotel! Issues with service started the moment we entered the hotel. No one was available to valet our car. This is a forced valet so we weren't just being lazy. Check-in took an unreasonable amount of time. They were very, very confused because I had made one night of my reservation online and another directly through the hotel. I did this because we unexpectedly needed to stay an additional night. They continuously kept calling our room because they thought we were supposed to check out but then they would call back saying to ignore the last call. The room was fine. Very small bathroom. The bed was very close to the door so you heard the hallway noises constantly. My biggest complaint was that on our second night, our car was BROKEN INTO on their 'secure' lot. Thankfully, one of the valets scared the person out of the car but there were damages to our vehicle that we had to get repaired. When I voiced my complaint, the front desk did not seem to care. The manager was more helpful and I got my stay for free. I was not trying to get a free room but I had to spend money more than the stay to repair my car. Overall, avoid this hotel!!

Don't be fooled ---There are no minibars in the room. The full service restaurant serves over priced bar food and was not open suring the day!! The room I reserved wasn't available and the one I got had dirty sheets and double beds! The restaurant was cold and I was told they ""couldn't do anything about it"". This IS NOT a luxury hotel. It was worse than most economy hotels I have stayed in.

The overall experience was fair. I am a Select Guest and I filled out the door hanger placard and the hotel staff took it, however, I did not receive any of the select guest services I checked on the placard. I also called the front desk and they said they would send the items and I did not receive them.

Nice business hotel - pleasant rooms. No pool. Nice - centrally located, walking distance to Gateway Arch, Busch Stadium. Not too many frills - limited parking, no pool, but rooms are large, modern and pleasant. Could have better TV reception.

This hotel was amazing. First of all they greet you at the door with a smile and all you have to do is tell them your name one time and every employee remebers it. The room was amazing...king size bed...sitting area...decent sized bathroom. We really liked the doormen especially [...]. This hotel offers a shuttle within 3 miles of downtown so that was really nice because they're right in the middle of downtown!!! And the shuttle is a Lincoln Navigator....very nice!!! We were within walking distance of the Arch, the Busch Stadium, the Union Station, and a metrolink station. THE BEST HOTEL EVER!!!! WILL DEFINATELY STAY THERE AGAIN!
