We found the staff at the Omni to be gracious to a fault. The rooms were immaculate and had everything we needed. The only thing we found surprising was the size of the room - so tiny! It was difficult to get to the far side of the bed when the furniture that contained the television had an open door.

Pool and exercise room were well equipped & convenient. They have 4 elevators that were slow if they were even working.

This hotel was not what I expected at all, it's nothing like the Omni Houston or Austin. First off when we got there we had a bell man carry our bags to the room and we tipped him six dollars only to find our stuff sprawled across the hallway when we came back out for dinner. Thank God we found it before anyone else did. The rooms have no amenities whatsoever, no fridge, microwave absolutely nothing! It's just a plain hotel as far as the rooms go you'd be better off staying at Homewood Suites or Comfort Suites or something like that you'd get way more for much less. My company held a reception in the "presidential suite" on the 20th floor, haaaaaaaa that's was hilarious! That room was teeney tiny bite sized downright uncomfortable! People were trying to enjoy themselves and mingle and it was impossible, I left after maybe five minutes. The kitchen area( there was no bar) could only fit two people at a time so it was hard to make or get drinks. A man knocked over a lamp just trying to walk around, I mean it was laughable to call that crawl space a "presidential suite". Then when we got ready to check out we wanted to use a cart but we were told that it would be a while before we could get one, so we brought all our bags down by ourselves only to find several idle carts in the lobby! This was the worst stay I've ever had, the only thing I liked was the express check out because I couldn't get out of there fast enough!

Clean and friendly, Good pool for kids and families. Worst and most uncomfortable mattress I have slept on (or tried to sleep) in a long time, which is the only reason I would not return.

My husband, my 2 year old daughter, and myself LOVED our stay here. It was a very nice hotel, and very family friendly as well. We will definitely be going back to this hotel in the future! The only draw back is that it's not very close to any typical San Antonio attractions (Riverwalk, zoo, Sea World....). It will take at least 20-30 minutes to get to any attraction. BUT, it's still worth the stay!

Location and class. Pillows seemed old and dirty, carpet seemed dirty.

I arrived in around midnight only to be told that they had overbooked. They sent me to another hotel 10 miles away out in the middle of nowhere. It was dark, I was tired and I did not know where I was going. I got lost a few times. It was scary and upsetting.I had booked on hotels.com, so the money was out of my account already. How nice of them to "comp" me a night at the other hotel when I had already paid (179/night) for it. They did offer me a "nice room" for the next night, which I politely declined.Welcome to the Omni folks: have a free apple and get lost, we found someone to pay more for your room. By the way - I was a frequent guest at the Omni, SAT. Clearly I won't be any more.

Beautiful hotel, great employees, very clean rooms. First time here, but will definitely stay at the Omni in the future when visiting San Antonio, about 10 miles from both Sea World and the Alamo district. Will save money by eating out, especialy the breakfast, less expensive to eat complete meal rather than a la carte.

the rooms were very nice and i just loved the beds. they were so comfortable it was hard to get out of bed. they only thing i didnt like was there was only trash can, which was in the bathroom. they need to have a second one in the common areas. overall i would stay again!

The hotel was very expensive and so my wife and I expected great service. Unfortunately the Omni thinks that you should be charged for the smallest of features that would be standard at another hotel. Internet cost about $10 per day. Room had many amenities with each of them costing between $6 and $20. When we checked in, the sheets were dirty and the shower had hairs stuck to the walls.

Location. I was given a smoking room, I woke up feeling horrible. I was given the worst room in another hotel.

This hotel has wonderful decor. The rooms are tastefully decorated; the bedclothes are top-notch, and the staff are courteous and helpful. The atmosphere is beautiful. Wonderful, moderately-priced hotel.

We had problem after problem with this hotel and it was overpriced for its rating. I would rate this no higher than your run of the mill 3 star hotel, although the 3 star hotel probably has friendlier and more reliable staff. We had to change rooms and it ended up being a complete fiasco. We went to use the pool one evening and it had been taken over by a child's birthday party which left it uncomfortable to use for anyone else. The room service staff was very nice. The beds were comfortable and the room was average in its cleanliness. The front desk was mainly incompetent and unhelpful which is such a surprise for an Omni hotel. Also, this was not your typical Omni... the hotel definitely needs a makeover.

Location. Staff. The staff was very unfriendly. They gave us a hassle from the moment we walked in. The room was small and cramped from the TV cabinet. No ice machine by the room where we stayed.

You can't beat the location - took us no more than 15 minutes to get anywhere. But - the rooms were small and dark, we weren't told of our family benefits at check-in (learned about them on our last day), and the indoor pool was very small. It was too cold to swim outdoors when we were there. At the buffet brunch, we never saw our waitress and had to get a manager to get our bill. It was quite the surprise. We had expected better. This was billed as a 4 star hotel. Honestly, I don't see it. For a business trip, it's probably ok, but certainly not a family hotel.

The staff at any Omni is always great including this location. Check in/out always smooth. My biggest problem was the rooms and the cleanliness. Once you go over a certain dollar amount depending on the city your in the sheets should be new or at least without stains on them. The omni in San antonio is one of the cities premier hotels. I didnt feel like it once i stepped into the hotel and seen the hallway, ride the snail elevator, or slept in the burnt sheets in my room.
