Staff was super helpful at securing early check-in. We came in for a wedding and the service and wedding facilities were top notch. The area surrounding the hotel also had trendy resturants and bars. We got a King-sized guestroom that was spacious and had more than enough room for my kid's play pen. Although it did not have family friendly features like a frig in room or free breakfast, the luxury accommodations were worth it and made us explore Richmond. I was surprised by what downtown Richmond and this hotel had to offer. Valet parking was $20, but was better than worrying about my car in an unfamiliar city. Didn't have a chance to explore the YMCA but heard it was good from other guests.

The food was great. I had to switch rooms three times. The room I was given was a deluxe room with a king size bed. I wanted a room with a queen size so they moved us. The second room was right until I pulled down the comforter and there was a large stain on the flip side, we were then moved to a third room, that was finally correct. The people at the hotel were very sorry, but it was not the type of hotel that deserved 4 stars.

Not only was the hotel expensive, but the hotel also charges rediculous additional costs for parking, bottled water and internet service. Although the room was o.k. and the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was dirty and the wallpaper was peeling. I also found it disturbing that the hotel is following no "green" or water conservation efforts. The staff was "business-like" but certainly not overly friendly. Never saw a smile! Staff would open the front door - but not say a word. No hello; no have a nice day - nothing. This hotel was certainly not a friendly entry for a visitor to the city of Richmond. Hotel lacks good eating alternatives. The one restaurant had rude wait staff, and the food was nothing to write home about. And Starbucks as the only alternative just doesn't cut it. Starbucks is a way over-rated coffee break - acceptable only when nothing else exists (which in this case was the case!) This hotel is way over priced for what you get. When I spend this kind of money I want my comfortable bed to be in a spotlessly clean and updated room, I want good coffee, I want free wi-fi, and I most importantly want a hotel staff that obviously appreciates me and my patronage.

A very over rated hotel. Bad experience from the time we checked in till the time we left. Reservations screwed up, front desk did nothing to help us very rude. Location is the only positive thing I can say about this hotel.

This was an overnight stay for my husband & I to celebrate our 5th anniversary...without the kids! It was surrounded by excellent restaurants and a ton of different bars. The rooms were very nice & we had a room that had a view of the James River - suberb. We're planning another overnight trip in Sept. back to the Omni.

This is actually my 5th stay and I am very pleased with this hotel. Everyone is friendly, the rooms are always immaculate and you get a lot for the money. The location is convenient to many shops, attractions and restaurants.

Had a 6:35PM Flight. I requested and received a late check out (3:00PM). This worked out very well. Hotel is located near many good restaurants. Nice to have a Starbucks in the Hotel!

We liked the location of the hotel. The staff was very helpful and provided us with directions to every place we wanted to go. We were on the 16th floor and we found our room to be clean and comfortable.

Great location, pet friendly, close to historic sites, quiet! Liked everything. This is a great location for walking around old Richmond, visiting historic sites, with lots of good restaurant choices right there! The room was quiet and very comfortable.

The Omni Richmond was a very comfortable hotel. The room was nice and there were great amenities in the hotel itself. The only issue that I really had during my stay was the hospital staff. It is cheaper to valet than self park but on at least one occasion I couldnt find anyone to actually valet my vehicle. In addition, I asked for suggestions for restaraunts and the hotel staff seemed to know that places existed nearby but couldnt' really comment on them and seemed to always want me to eat in the hotel restaraunt. They were otherwise friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible.

The Omni in Richmond was beyond our expectations for the price we paid. The bedding was of the highest quaity and the entire hotel is extremly clean. The decor of our room was warm and comfortable. I cannot comment on the retaurant as we did not eat there.

Everything. Pool area slightly dated. We will definitely book here next time we are in Richmond.
