The hotel served our need for being close to the Gator Bowl; however, while we were in bed with the door locked, a stanger was able to open the door and enter our room. He left quickly when told he was in the wrong room. We phoned the front desk to report the incident and they were going to send someone to look around. No one from the hotel came to our room to see if we were ok nor did they call us back to check on us. I will not use this hotel again due to the lack of security and apparent lack of concern by the management.

The staff was great- very friendly. The rooms were beautiful, loved the bed, and everything was clean. The parking situation leaves a little to be desired. The pool is small. I would like to have the indoor pool option. The hotel was bright and the staff is friendly. The rooms are fairly large and the beds are wonderfully comfortable. The hotel is centrally located with views of Jacksonville Landing and the river.

Cookie cutter hotel, nothing special. We were sitting out by the pool on Friday night enjoying the view, and we were told we had to leave because it was 10pm and they were closing the pool area...we were 2 adults not swimming, and not allowed to stay. Next time we will stay at the Hyatt which is right on the water.

The food was terrible. Some of the stated ingredients on the menu were omitted without even informing the guests. The food had absolutely no flavor. The room was dirty and old. The amenities were substandard for a 4 star hotel.

Staying at the Omni was wonderful. The staff was very friendly, room was spacious and clean, meals were great and the convenience of being close to The Landing was a plus. I wouldn't hesitate to recomend this hotel to anyone.

It had a nice view, convenient location to highway and dining. It was old, the ac did not work properly in our room even after fixing, the ceiling was coming off into the end table, building noise. This hotel is in a great location due to close proximity to major highway and dining. The building is old, the ac did not work properly even after engineering fixed it so the room was hot. The bed was not comfortable and we got charged for a roll away bed we did not ask for.

The hotel staff from the valet parking to the bellmen to the front desk to the persons that answer the phone when you call for anything were wonderful, nice, and helpful. The room was super clean, warm and inviting. It's not right on the river but not far either. Ask for the side that looks out the most to the water. There is also a lot 30 feet in front of where you pull up to valet park to park and is the same price as in the parking garage. I would recommend you use it. It has a gate off the main street. My room did not have a coffee maker but the Java coffee you pay for was Wonderful ,the best tasting I have ever had! Huge TV in the room and nice sleeping beds. The bedspread is so thick it could get to 10 below and you not be cold:) The riverside market place is just a stone's throw away.

Picked this hotel because it was close to my location as I drove from Orlando to Jacksonville for a party. Hotel was easy to find and once there I felt very much like a "guest". Valet was awesome, checking in was a breeze and room service arrived in less than 15 minutes and I checked in close to 11:00PM. My room was on 15th floor, decor was very nice and the room was very clean. I loved the robe! The in-room food/drink items were VERY pricey, more like NYC than FL but that was expected. Overall, I had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this hotel and certainly would visit again. P.S>. Express check was great, did not even have to stop by the desk!

This is a very nice hotel. One problem... we checked in on Sunday, so the hotel shop wasn't open. The vending machines were not working, so it was difficult to find something to drink. Staff was helpful, providing soft drinks. Close to a river-walk area with shops and restaurants. Right across the street from the Times Union Amphitheater, so it was very convenient for attending a concert there.

Near Riverwalk, good restaurants, great view of city and river. Entrance looks out at parking lot.

The hotel was extremely attractive and well-decorated. This is an impressive hotel as you approach the entrance. There is valet parking, and the lobby is modern and well-appointed. Everything looks new and well-maintained. The furnishings in the bedroom are well done, and the bed is comfortable. The lighting is a little dim however. The bathroom has a large granite counter and tile throughout. For the money this was an excellent value, and we would have liked to spend more time here.

Visited to enjoy Jacksonville Riverfront. Area was worth the trip. Hotel was not worth the price. Mold in bathroom triggered allergies. Hotel only interested in charging for each service. Could not use refrig in room unless you got key from desk. Parking was 15 for a Saturday night. Maid opened door at 9am. Not what I expected, not a value for the price.

i found the hotel clean, well maintained, and the staff friendly and helpfull. the food was excellent and the staff went out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. it is close to entertainment and the river taxi downtown. i could not have ask for a better hotel.

Beautiful facilities, top-notch staff, and the room was amazing. Self - parking fees! Valet service was nice though. Will definitely stay again when in Jacksonville area. Top-notch hotel for the $ paid, but still leaves a lot to be desired for the star rating and class. Staff was wonderful, courteous, and knowledgeable. Valet service was a nice touch because there's always something going at convention center or Jacksonville Landing in which normal $5-$10 self-parking rate get jacked up to $15-$20. Valet service was only $18/night.

"Beautiful hotel; loved art work and decor; staff very helpful. Stayed here because it was close to Riverwalk. Highly disappointing! Skip it unless you are into Hooters, food courts or drinking. Don't think you can shop there. Museums are nearby; do those. Or wait for an event at complex across the street from hotel."

Location, water in lobby with fresh citrus fruit. The entrance was tucked away with small sidewalks.
