Very large rooms with a great set up. Hotel staff was very friendly. The location is perfectly situated within walking distance to Navy Pier, Oak Street, Riverwalk and of course great shopping. Only downside was the noise coming from the Ritz construction site which is right next door.

The suites are great for privacy when traveling with someone.

We stayed at the Omni from Feb. 12-15 and it was wonderful. We arrived early and checked in immediately and stayed on the top floor in a large luxurious suite. The location was convenient to the bus down Michigan Avenue so we were able to get to museums, restaurants, and parks easily. The staff was incredibly helpful, professional, and friendly. Breakfast at the 676 restaurant was fresh and delicious with a huge variety to select from. The staff went out of their way to be kind and courteous. We definitely recommend the Omni hotel!

On my first visit to Chicago, couldn't have asked for a better hotel. This property is an all suite hotel, which gives you plenty of room. Location is right on Michigan Avenue, and is two blocks from the red line subway station. Staff was right on target, very helpful, very friendly. Rooms very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Will stay here for my next visit.

We explored the mag mile amd had lots of fun. We had dinner at Table 52-on of the best dining experiences I ever had. Took a bus and boat tour around the city. I loved, loved, loved Chicago. Would do it again and recommend it to a friend.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. That the internet was not free in the business service center. It was opposite where it would have been free with your own laptop. The hotel was very clean and quiet. Could have been the time of year we were visiting but it was not overcrowded and it didn't take us long to get an elevator. The suites weren't as big as I thought but still very nice and spacious. We would definitely stay there again. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

I am not a complete clean freak, but expect when I check into an all suite hotel, where I paid to be upgraded to have the room clean upon checking in. The desk glass top was dirty with crumbs and a drinking glass had sticky smudges on it. I took the glass down and spoke with the hotel manager, who was excellent btw, and moved to a new room. I should have had her come with because that room had a can of SKOAL sitting on the closet shelf, a dirty glass desktop and coffee table, and a wadded up panty hose in the corner. I gave up at that point. The staff here is EXCELLENT however, but their housekeeping is horrible. They need to train them better.

Paying for the location in this area in Chicago. Nice hotel....but for the money I wasn't totally impressed. We got snowed in leaving Chicago and stayed in a (newer) Hampton Inn in Aurora, IL.....and it was in a lot better shape and the bed/bedding was much better. Like I said, location is everything. Staff was great and friendly. Had a bag of goodies for our kids. Location doesn't get much better if you want to shop on Michigan Ave. Taxi to Soldier Field was less than 10. Parking was a bit high compred to the Swiss Hotel (where we stayed last time). Pool was free...so good for the kids. Never heard anyone else through the walls. Overall...I'd recommend the Omni. The suits make it nice if you have kids and need a little more room.

I took my boyfriend for his birthday in December '08. We had an amazing time and the Omni was definitely a great choice. I agonized for weeks about which hotel to stay at (it always seemed that just as I was about to pick one, a really negative review would pop up!) I had no reason to worry. I upgraded to the one big room instead of the small suite (the charge to upgrade varied anywhere from $* to $*, depending on the day and time I looked it up) and I was very happy with the room. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the view was nice and the location was absolutely amazing. We were within walking distance of almost everythig (and even when we took a cab, it was never more than $10). We didn't go to the gym or pool but we did eat at the restaurant. The brunch was amazing but we went for an afternoon snack and it was a little disappointing. They didn't have any of the "usual bar foods" and popcorn (which was delicious) and a cheese plate cost us around $30. The staff was incredibly nice, always greeting us and patient and helpful with directions and advice on where to go/eat/visit. We also were able to check in about an hour early and check out an hour late with no problem. The front desk also held our bags after we checked out so we could sightsee before we went to the airport. There is no place you can stay where everyone will be satisfied all the time, but as far as our visit went, for the price, I would absolutely stay at the Omni again.

I'm originally from the area so I had never stayed in a hotel downtown. Hotel was beautiful. The staff was very friendly. Room to die for. You get what you pay for but it was worth it!

The location enabled us to walk the entire city, although we didnt get very far south. It's closer to shopping than Grant Park. The 3rd floor lobby was disappointing but the room was a very good value with the extra living area for a hotel room price.

It was our second stay. I actually had stayed on a girl trip prior (aprox 5 years agao.) The Omni is great...great smaller size suites that you can close off, two t.v.`s, paper service and great coffee/fruit/muffins that you can buy in the lobby. Their room-service is great and very quick. The whole staff is very friendly and you can`t beat the great location. They will clean your room whenever you want....24hr. service and they even took us to "Jersey Boys" with a omni in-town car....and we walked back which was what we needed after sitting so long. I would give it at least a 4 star....depending on indiv. likes and dislikes. We also used the exercise room a couple of times but did not get to the pool.

Our first trip to Chicago was made enjoyable by the great location and wonderful service we received at this all suite hotel. Easy access to many of Chicago's landmarks. Very accommodating staff, clean, comfortable rooms. Great value, we'd stay there again.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. Really nothing. The Omni hotel was very elegant and in the heart of the Magnificent Mile. It was nice to shop and bring packages back to the hotel and shop some more. I would stay their again.

The Omni is always great. The rooms are big and nice, and the staff is always courteous and helpful. The 676 restaurant/bar in the hotel is awesome too. Only hotel I will ever stay at in Chicago.

Usually you get what you pay for, however, the rate was very reasonable considering it is an all suite hotel. The room is updated, spacious, clean, quiet (hardly any traffic noise) and had a beautiful view. (try the corner suite). The hotel is very elegant. Location is right on Michigan Ave, within walking distance to all shopping, (two blocks from American Girl - they have an American Girl package - at additional rate, of course, but will bring up a bed for your doll), * cab ride to Navy Pier. Really great location! The staff was very friendly, helpful, courteous; the front desk went above and beyond all of my requests. I can't say enough about this hotel. I am so pleased that we will stay again next year!!
