Was in N.Y. to celebrate daughter birthday and had requested High room and called desk staff 2 times prior to arrival to let them know this was a special trip. My expectations were not met. Nothing special for birthday and on 7th of 21 floors. Was offered a room with cot or fold out couch, not a good option for 3 adults. The hotel locatioon was great. Close to everything. The hotel was nice but I was disappointed. Daughters had no problem with placement. If you have special request talk to the manager and dont leave request to staff. We loved N.Y. and overall the experience was good. (The manager did address my complaints after we left).

We were very pleased with the Omni Berkshire. They were located in a great spot, perfect for walking everywhere. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were clean. The 24 hour concierge was a great help too! We definitely want to visit NY again and it's likely we'll stay at the Omni again.

Cleaning services need to be moniterred more. We had a roll-away bed that the sheets were never changed on. We had requested two beds in the room but, they weren't able to accomidate us. In all fairness, it was mentioned on the website that they couldn't guarantee the type of room. But, my point is, if they're going to provide a roll-away, then it should be mantained properly. Drinking glasses weren't cleaned nor replaced without request. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time in NY.

Exce3llent location ,right next to park avenue. Concierges very helpful ,especially a lady named Mary [last name taken out] who was superb. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - Rooms were superb and spacious by new york standards. Only thing to improve- and its minor were bar prices where the kids were paying 5 dollars for a glass of sprite and we paid 12 dollars for a glass of chilean cabernet . However all in all ,would thoroughly recommend and will deffinitely be back.

The doorman promplly brought our luggage to the front desk nad returned to his post, I had to find him to tip him. Our reservations were in order and our room available at noon. The room was spacious with a king bed.dresser/wardrobe, large bathroom with plenty of towels and a lounging tub. Bell service was informative and gave us good directions to our immediate destination. The location was central for our purposes, near shopping, Museum of Modern Art, theatre and restaurants. we were greeted each time we returned by at least 2 people. The only complaints were there was no TV remote in the room and we did not report it to management. One of 3 phones did not work and the maintainence staff appeared within 5 minutes of reporting the problem. The other is the high charges for a continental breakfast.

The hotel was in a great location. Check-in was smooth and easy. The concierge was terrific but I didn't find the front clerks especially friendly. The room was very clean and relatively spacious for New York.

The Omni staff were very accomodating & especially friendly. Great location. Breakfast was VERY pricey, but good. Isadora's, just across the street, had great food, snack & breakfast prices. Would love to go back to the Omni.

I asked for a 4 star hotel in Manhattan and you delivered! The hotel was beautiful, the room was lovely and the staff was gracious but did not over-do it. I would love to stay here again. The food in the hotel is super expensive but there is a great little market right across the street where I got a great, cheap breakfast.

A nice hotel very centrally located. Not too large hotel, very friendly staff who seemed to like their work at OMNI - smiling and welcoming. Spacious rooms - clean and quiet (11th floor). I will probably choose this hotel several more times.

Lovely boutique hotel in excellent midtown location. Subway stations are nearby, or for those who prefer to walk it is easy to get to the main attractions in the midtown area. Would certainly stay here again next time I visit New York.

My husband worked while I went shopping and to shows. There are two doormen at the Omni that must be the best in NYC helping me get around the city, where to purchase, places to go, etc. We stayed three weeks in the Madison Suite and during this time, we had turn-down service with chocolates on our pillows each night. The restaurant isn't much to talk about. The hotel is in the perfect location and has a lovely, inexpensive hair/nail salon across the street along with Versace, Ann Taylor Loft, Cartier.etc. Great stay!

The room was clean and nicely decorated and the hotel is centrally located. Unfortunately, our 4th floor room looked onto a building site. We really appreciated that the staff allowed us to check out at 4.30 pm!

When I made my reservation through Venere, I wasn't sure whether the "total price" quoted by Venere for the room included taxes and fees. I sent an email to Venere to ask and received an email telling me that such taxes and fees depend on the hotel and country, and that U.S. hotels typically do not include taxes and fees in their quoted prices. I was therefore prepared to pay taxes and fees above and beyond the quoted total price from Venere. I was very pleasantly surpirsed, however, to discover that, when I checked out, Venere's quoted price DID include taxes and fees for the Omni Berkshire. Thanks for a great hotel rate!

I would say it was commercial, busy and unable to accommodate simple requests.
