This IS the place to stay at Port Angeles. Absolutely clean, new beds and linens, quite atmosphere, gracious staff and the best darn hot buffet breakfast that starts extra early and it's only $6.49.

We used Port Angeles as our base for exploring the surrounding area up to Neah Bay. This hotel was beyond my expectations. It is the best Best Western that I have stayed at and it seemed to be one of the better places in town. The staff was very nice, the rooms were clean and roomy. The beds were very comfortable! I will reccomend to anyone planning to visit the area.

We visited Olympic National Park. Our room had a good view of water and downtown area -- watched 4th fireworks from our room. Breakfast was fixed price and a bit slow. Only one other restaurant easy to walk to.

Great hotel - but no hot water in the morning for showers - the pump was broken.

We picked this hotel because of the no pets policy. The hotel was clean and the beds were good. It was expensive compared to other local hotels. We didn't want to pay for breakfast.I would stay here again but wish they offer a free breakfast for the rates they charge

Nice hotel, check in good, lobby quite nice. The beds were comfortable and the kids loved the pool. They offer breakfast for $7 for an adult, $4 per kid but there are only 4 options to chose from. Skip breakfast there and go to Joshua's adjoining their parking lot. Tremendous selection there.

Beautiful landscape and setting. No continental breakfast. I was highly disappointed in this hotel for the expense. There was not a continental breakfast.Check in was easy. Staff was friendly.

The rooms where very clean and the lobby was beautiful. Location was central to downtown and close to freeway. The rooms where a little smaller than I had hoped. For the price I would have thought the breakfast would have been better. Most hotels now have a free continental brakfast but we had to pay $7 for two eggs and a peice of ham. Overall it was a nice a hotel but I wouldn't go there again.

Had computers on-site for us to check e-mail. Need better latches on door to swimming pool. My overall stay was nice. I like the microwave and mini fridge. I also liked the ability to check my e-mail because they had computers on site.

I walked into the hotel and immediately saw that it was under renovation...not in the description but it was late, I knew I was getting up early, and with two small children...I needed a room. I checked in with one of the two counter attendants boyfriends awkwardly hanging all over the counter. He looked like a skateboarder, had his pants hanging low and his underwear showing...classy! My reservation did not show up and I had to wait in the lobby/construction zone with awkwardboy for about 15 minutes. The walk to our room from the car was very long, and it took three trips to get all of the kids + gear up to the room. Then it was time to squeeze my car into the only spot left in the extremely small parking lot. The room itself was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. We were getting an early start so we were checked out by 8:00. You would think that paying $135 a night for a hotel room would get you breakfast too but plan on paying another $7 per person for breakfast...or you can walk across the street to the diner. Bottom line...If you have crawling kids and want them to crawl on a clean floor it may be worth a few extra bucks and some hassle to stay here. If you don't there are other places to stay that will treat you better.

I liked the furnishings, linens, cooked to order breakfast, free soup and cookies. Nothing. I had a pleasant stay and will return again.

The king size bed was very comfortable and the hotel staff was very courteous. A little pricey for a 3 Star hotel & a little more variety in the breakfast. We loved the hotel; it is by far the best place in Port Angeles to stay. Our room was very nice, the bed was great, and the hotel was very clean. We plan on returning and staying there again. We have recommended this hotel to friends already.

Fantastic location. No negative comments. This hotel is conveniently located and allowed us to explore the Olympic Peninsula and return to a home base. Anyone looking to do a similar trip would be pleased with the convenience and location of this hotel.
