Location was great and easy to find. Rooms were large and comfortable but having hot breakfast items cost more which was unexpected.

Disappointing stay very noisy, probably the loudest plumbing I have come across, room was cold and heating no good, have stayed at there hotel in Melbourne a number of times and they seem to have the "heritage " thing working for them but this hotel is just tacky. For what the room rate is, there is much better in Canberra.

Room was very outdated. Bathroom was very old with mould growing in many places. Amenities such as shampoo and lotions were a mixture of brands. We phoned the reception on the second day of our trip asking for milk as it was not replaced when the room was cleaned, we were told it would be brought to the room. We waited and nothing came, we had to go out and buy milk. Needs to be renovated. Staff were quite rude and not very helpful, seemed like it was a hassle to answer enquiries. Would not stay again.

A comfortable, quiet place.Ten minutes walk to War Memorial & public transport bus stop at rear of hotel car park made sight seeing easy.

nice old heritage hotel in great location,close to most Canberra facilities-room was Superior and bed was nearly new-very comfortable,new large well set up bathroom en suite,TV had poor viewing- screen tended to be less sharp than normal! Would stay here again but felt prices a little high for a 3 star at $145 a night!

I thought the service, location and price of the hotel was great however the actual standard of the room I stayed in simply wasn't up to scratch. The room was on the small side, poorly lit and the bathroom needed renovating. The service of the hotel staff was perhaps a saving grace for the hotel. Wouldn't stay there again.

We stayed in the "older" part of the hotel and it was very small and old and lets say the walls were quite thin! The front desk staff were friendly, however, the cleaning staff were knocking on our door at 9.30am when check out isn't until 11am!! Most unimpressed with that, but other then that was an ok overnight stay. Thanks.

Olims Hotel has a by gone era, atmosphere which i try and find when using accomodation. This is what most establishments should aim for with polite and professional staff, guest's lounge and bar restaurant.

The broadband cable in room 110 is too short for where it is placed. The hotel rooms are starting to look tired for the price point.

Hotel room was small & shabby, but bed & linen was good. We appreciated the late checkout of noon. Staff were friendly & helpful. After searching for reasonable accommodation for one night only, we chose this hotel as it was the cheapest available. Accommodation costs in Canberra appear over priced. The view from the window over the hotel 'dump site' was not appealing.

Hotel is very close to city centre and has great food and facilities. Though a bit shabby, I understand it is in the process of an upgrade. The room balcony had not been swept or cleaned for a very long time so we did not use that but overall, for the price and location, we would stay there again.
