The Old West Theme. About $20 more than I wanted to spend. The Inn is clean, comfortable, well-staffed, & has a unique Western theme. The staff was especially helpful & kind.

1. Everyone was very nice except no hair dryer in the room and the heater appeared to be broken. I believe this would be considered by the State of California to be a fire hazard. knobs were missing and the front of the heater was falling a apart.Room appeared to be very clean, check in was very fast and simple.NO exectronic key, just an old fashined key. It was like stepping back in time.Value for the money Yes I would stay at this hotel again!

My husband and I have stayed at the Old West about 4 times over the past 15 years and were sad to see how it has apparently fallen on hard times. We had to look for the washcloths, the refrigerator wasn't plugged in, there wasn't any additional toilet paper in the room or any facial tissue at all. All of the walls had patches where fixtures had obviously been taken down but the room hadn't been repainted. The doors on the TV cabinet were missing and the room had the general air of someplace only just scraping by. Really too bad as this was a charming place in its heyday. Maybe we got the one bad room but locals we talked to about the place indicated that they had heard the same thing from others who had stayed there recently. I'm disturbed, however, that AARP and Travelagent are still listing this place as a Best Buy!?! I would not book here again unless there was no other option in the area.

It was close to everything. No pool it is permanently closed. It was clean and the staff was friendly but if you are looking for a place to get some rest look else where. Sleep deprived from Alaska.

They been unbelievably Helpful in fulling all of our needs. Because of his attentovness and willingness to help us in any situation. We will recomend all our friends to stay here while traveling. and we will gladly return as well.

My husband and I stayed at the Old West Inn in Willits for an overnight stay. It looked cute on their web page, but I was nervous about the quality as it was cheap. The price we could afford!It seems to be a family run business. They were pleasant and helpful. The room was a delight! They have an "old west" theme with rooms named for the buildings you would see in an old west town. We stayed in the Saloon. It had a queen bed and a single bed and a small wooden bar (no booze!). It was clean, cozy and spacious. We would definitely stay there again. Nicer than most average motels.

The closeness to our planned travel route. The outdated decree and close distance to the road (noise). It was a nice little hotel, too close to the road so we heard the trucks drive by, and the outdated decree was a turn-off. But when you travel with a 6 and an 8 year old, I couldn't expect much romance.

Don't be fooled by the themes on the outside. All the rooms are the same on the inside. The room did have a king, a single and a pull out when we only asked for a queen. I used Travel agency to make the purchase and the guy who lives in the front room found my reservation and then told me that I owe 40+. He didn't seem to understand how the system worked and told me that Travel agency only charges a large commission online and I still have to pay. Other than that there was no alarm clock in the room, the bed slumped to the middle and the pool was the smallest in-ground pool I've ever seen. I probably would not stay here again.

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at the Old West Inn during this last holiday weekend. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was very helpful and friendlly. There was a continental breakfast every morning, but unfortunately, we did not get to participate in it. The rooms were all different themes, and we stayed in the Sherriff's office. Other than loud and noisy teenagers banging up and down the stairs, it was a quite comfortable stay. We most definitely will stay there again in the near future!

Western design. Heater was falling apart and did not work. Hotel was clean but the heater did not heat the room properly and also had knobs missing. The heater was also falling apart. The health dept and fire dept needs to inspect this hotel before someone gets hurt.

It was comfortable. Small TV, broken microwave. The location was decent. One night stays for traveler is ok.
